Is it possible that there will be gals with no packs in them?

Could someone clarify what's happening with gals- ive scoured the forums and cannot find the thread. Most of my friends are confused and don't know either.

i don't think so as the way it was described that all gals will get 1 bp and then those gals will then be filled with randoms.

The galaxy setup has changed slightly from when it was announced, I think.
You can have buddy packs of between 2 and 5 players. They're combined to make groups of 5 (the 5 are unchanged, the 4 packs get 1 random, the 2 and 3 packs are joined, etc) and these are used as the base of a galaxy.

How galaxies are formed:

1. All BPs are made to be a size of 5 (this will be buy combiening other part filled BPs or using paid randoms)
2. The BPs are then spread round the universe to form "base" galaxies
3. Paid randoms are then spread over all the gals
4. Free accounts are spread over the galaxies
5. Planet order is randomised in the galaxies

most people know but BPs = buddy packs

so there's no cap on how many planets can join the "base" galaxies?

can only see a problem if there's simply too few buddy packs

yes and no

a base gal can only have 5 members from the bp after that it is filled till the uni is even

having too few bps if possible but last round we had 2 pares of 3 and we did fine so i think this round should be ok

How big were the gal's going to be again in the beginning?

Last round they were 14 at the start, I think.

and becuase we are accomodating a greater variety in buddy pack size so more people might be inclined to use them.
