Suggestion: Scan population settings.

Now as you got the new populationsystem, how about having a scan in the tech tree wich tells you the setting the person has.

It just makes it so damn EASY. Where's the guessing games? Where's the getting every scan imaginable to work out the planet's government? Where's the getting your attacker to pull because they don't know which wave you were able to produce for?

Well, you can already now more or less monitor to see what production point is for a planet if you really want to.

The scan I suggested doesn't necessarily mean u can see when he can change the setting.

In my opnion this could be replaced with the structurescan, as I see the structurescan as making things too easy.

If populations is effectively engineering, and it being generall agreed that engineering scans are bad, why would a population scan be good?

Certainly. However, that monitoring requires that little bit more effort. It can lead to calculation errors. It makes things that little bit more fun and skillful.
