Star Wars fan films
Have any of you guys seen any?
I'm downloading ' revelations ' one right now, it's 40 minutes and was reviewed positively by slate
There is a list of fan films at this site.
Pretty interesting, it seems that Lucas Arts actually encourages fan films for the Star Wars universe. The trailer looks like it has good effects and cheesy acting heh. When I come back from work I'll watch it.

Samurai jack is ace! It's very "hate it or love it" though.
Still downloading the first link..or at least, I'm trying to do so.. the site seems rather down atm - I'll check back in an hour I guess :P

Re: Star Wars fan films
Clone Wars is OK. It's a lot better than the movies in terms of action etc but like Samurai Jack it's not exactly supported by amazing writing.

Re: Star Wars fan films
Samurai Jack is one of the very few things I'd go out of my way to watch on tv. So many great episodes

Re: Star Wars fan films
Get them all at the official website.
http://www.starwars.com/clonewars
And as of fanfilms... Revelations has great CGI, but look for Hunt for the Holocron seems to be a nice fanfilm, the costumes where made by a friend of mine. He made my Stormtrooper armor also.

Re: Star Wars fan films
Okay I watched it and I have to say some of the scenes impressed me. Some others were too dark to see wtf was going on. But overall I liked it.

Re: Star Wars fan films
Geordie Star Wars is the best out of all of them.
If I get a chance at some point, I'll either torrent it or upload a rip to my webspace.

Re: Star Wars fan films
I've just started watching Samurai Jack given the raving reviews in this post, undecided of its worthyness yet.
Though the line "Looks like no money for you, crazy round man!" had me laughing heartily for a while.

I downloaded it and watched the first 3 or 4 episodes. It is unbelievably dull. Have you actually watched it?
