Re: Series of incidents on the tube.
Looks like they were smoke bombs/detonators rather than actual explosions.

Re: Series of incidents on the tube.
it will be amusing when the police catch them and then put them in a cell with bubba.

Re: Series of incidents on the tube.
The real fundamentalists have done their job, now the wannabes will try for copycat attacks.
Nothing but a bit of scare tactics. Children with Smoke Bombs. I do think ill enjoy watching the courts make an example of them.

Re: Series of incidents on the tube.
4 explosions either dummys or not. possibly 'dummy nailbomb' attacks. Armed police have entered the university hospital where lots of the injured from last attack are being held and the area has been cordoned off.
the bus had an explosion go off blowing out its upper windows but no injuries apparently and noone has yet gone close to it incase theres another. waiting for a robot presumably.
THeres also hazmat guys going into one of the stations but apparently its just precatuaionary (lets hope).
tbh it either sounds like copycat attack or a botched second wave. OR maybe it wasnt designed to kill but designed to send a stark warning to people that the new security measures dont mean jackshit and if they want to blow up nailbombs in the tube killing people they can and will.

surely if it was a warning that the new security measure dont mean jack shit it wouldnt be much harder to detonate those detonaters with a few Kg of high explosives for extra effect; unless they really are hard up for cash
ofcourse it could be the explosiions were just to launch some bio / chem attack or somthing

Errrrm ... More London Bombings
I hate to point out that today is another thursday
Quote:
A number of Tube stations have been evacuated and lines closed after three blasts in what Met Police chief Sir Ian Blair says is a "serious incident".
Sir Ian appealed to Londoners to stay where they were and said the transport system was effectively shut down.
The minor explosions used detonators only, a BBC reporter said.
In addition, a Number 26 bus in Hackney Road in Bethnal Green had its windows blown out by a blast. There were no injuries.
Large areas around Warren Street, Oval and one of the Shepherd's Bush Tube stations have been cordoned off.
Police in London say they are not treating the situation as "a major incident yet".
One person was injured at Warren Street. There were reports the injured person may have been holding a rucksack containing the detonator.

what do we reckon? mental spastic wannabe terrorists?
or an attempt to think terrorists can't be stopped
frankly after seeing how london recovered from the actual bombs, this minor event is more likely to be met with laughter than with fear.

Re: Errrrm ... More London Bombings
News just in
A government advisory committee has just released a report warning citizens not to hold rucksacks containing detonators
A spokesman from the committee went on to say.....
