Like I mentioned before, ManiacMagic actually got the better end of the deal because his wave (the first one) was
covered - it wasn't until I saw the J afterwards that I had defence recalled. I realised I had already spent way more time than I intended to on PA and the combination of minimizing their gains and sabotaging my own round (making sure I wouldn't try to come back) was too good to ignore.
I do agree though that value/score shouldn't drop from a single mistake (or press of a button), but the solution to that problem is a long way out and is far from top priority to 'fix' PA.
