This could at most have the effect of doubling the pad length. In fact it looks to me like the algorithm pad length is still effectively 1024; it ignores half of each key and interleaves the rest...

Hashes aren't much slower than arrays, they're just less easy to iterate over etc. You can delete from an array too - it just means $array[val] will be undefined.

You've also missed out the <T> after Queue in these lines:
void Queue::enqueue(T c)
T Queue::dequeue()
On the other hand, ~Queue<T>() in the header is overkill - you don't need the <T> there.

If it helps, /proc/<pid>/mem is process memory, and /proc/<pid>/maps gives a clue as to what's interesting. You need to have ptrace'd that pid to access mem (plus you can always access your own...

.exes tend to use pages, so the size will be page-aligned rather than being tightly tied to the exact amount of code. Though of course pages are something like 512B (I think) so that doesn't account...
