15 STOOMTHEREVIVAL in t50 :)

I am surprised we had so meny jens in T100, for a long time (something like half the round) it looked like we would only get 4 at most, got a load of ppl sneek in at the lower end in the last few ticks :p

congrats to everyone who played and fought!

on a different issue this seems to have been a lower scoring round in terms of the top ranked players than the last 2, is this just down to the hard fighting? no one was ever able to hold on to meny more than 2k roids rather than the 3-4k of the last few?

It's partly down to there being a lot of Cath players who got knocked down during the last halve of the round. That and the fact that the end of the round was fairly interesting, meaning the top alliances didn't get a chance to flagship planets to high roid counts (oh, and there was a thing with top planets getting fleetcaught too).

if you remove hard fighting with 'sucking hard, crashing lots' you kinda nail it.

If you spread out the signup process over the course of the entire round, you can do it in segments that take less effort than signing on to the forums and creating a new thread. And you can help (artificially) inflate the universe planet count and maybe you'll even be unable to resist playing again!

Ya, Satyr and I cov oped our way to t50 finishes.

Well, that makes 3 cov-oppers in the top 100 then including me.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the maximum out of it due to not having internet at my work, so my numbers of hacks each day were limited :( (That same 'work' was actually the reason to play the game this way, cuz no way I could play a decent attack planet with being so much away from PA/inet every day) All in all, I'm happy with my #85 spot, because I didn't have to work much for it apart from looking for good bank hack tgts & launching some '1 spider' def fleets. My easiest top 100 ending so far :D

Who cares about the top100, PA is all about the #100-200 ranks. So on that note, does anyone know what rank 2:4:14 ended up with, and whether it was above or below #135? ;(

aload of cov ops/stockpilers just got in that at the end.. hardly making this a war game, just a game where ranks are easily obtained through thought rather then action.

Newt while you think you worked your guts out... i mean sure a fair few times you messed with your guts im sure, going out on the boozer with pom etc.. but there were many mornings where people were looking for you on irc and you just could not be bothered, so your attempt at "working your guts out" is actually most peoples attempts of a "round off", therefore your T200 position is seemingly high considering the amount of attention you pay to the game in my opinion..
