Accumalators
So twice a week I place two £1 bets on a football accumalator.
The first one is a fantasy bet, of say 7-10 matches at odds ranging from 50/1 - 500/1
The second one is a realistic bet, normally say Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Celtic, Rangers to all win, a simple 2-5 match bet which will give me a profit of say a fiver.
Anyway I have started to get a bit lucky recently, I have still been doing the safe bet, but now I am doing a semi fantasy bet. Normally 7 matches which give me odds of 80/1-150/1 anyway. Last weekend I got £50, the weekend just gone I gained £82, so who knows how far you can get with a couple of quid.
www.ladbrokes.com is where I bet, nice and easy etc, give it a try. Accumalators ftw!

Re: Accumalators
£27 profit this weekend doing £1 accumulators , and 5 team , 50p a bet trebles from 10.
Your safe bets (almost always) are
Celtic
Reading
Gretna
Chelsea
Swansea at home in the league ONLY
and on current form
Liverpool
Hibernian
Anyone who plays Hearts
Anyone caught betting on Man U against any team other than Sunderland , Birmingham and Villa , should not expect to get their money back , theyre about as consistent as the evidence of WMD's.

Re: Accumalators
my safe bets consist of Barcelona, Rangers, Celtic, Chelsea, Arsenal, Reading, Bayern Munich, porto and basically other teams. Normally I win and then man utd or arsenal **** it up. But the premiership is the best to bet on as wel I know the league ;/

Barca , yeh , but Spanish Football can be unpredictable.
Rangers? You cannot be serious about them being a safe bet.
Porto? A club in crisis that were knocked out of the CL by ...erm , Rangers?
And Arsenal (3 games , 3 defeats) , Man U (see previous post) , cmon, be serious.

Re: Accumalators
but i bet on them because although they are semi decent beds the odds are better. Man Utd and Arsenal atm are giving good odds, rather than chelseas 1/7 etc, and there is no dead cert in football. At least I stop betting on villa winning ;p that is a dead cert

Re: Accumalators
Why are almost all of your 'dead-certs' playing in the main leagues of their country? Scout around the lower divisions of England and Scotland - results are generally more predictable down there and the odds tend to be more favourable.
A team like Chelsea or Man U will have stupid odds because a lot of people bet on them, even though upsets happen fairly frequently in the Premiership. The better teams in the lower divisions generally arent quite as short-priced. "Never bet on the Premiership" would actually be a pretty good heuristic.

Have you actually looked below the premiership this season?
ok Reading would be a pretty safe bet as would Shef Utd... But the rest is pretty unpredictable.
Top of league 1: 1 Swansea 22 7 3 1 26 9 5 3 3 21 17 21 42
Top of league 2: 1 Wycombe 22 5 7 0 23 10 5 4 1 17 13 17 41
The odds match the predictability unsuprisingly.

I disagree.
For instance , this Sunday , i took 5 teams to win from the Scottish League. For a £5 stake on 10 50p trebles , i only returned £11.89. A £1 accumulator on the same teams (i always cover the bets in case they do come up) drew me a mere £4.14.
Now if the bookies are offering odds that low on Lower League Scottish, Irish & English Games (teams bet upon : Airdrie , Partick , Canvey Island, , Exeter , Linfield) , why wouldnt i bet upon the premiership for the same odds?
A £1 treble on Reading , Gretna and Chelsea (3 "Safe" bets) drew me £6.05 simply because they were away from home. Chelsea were a ludicrous 2.4 to win against an Arsenal side in disarray.
Bookies get it wrong, they do offer big odds on big sides. They must have got seriously burned on Chelsea on Sunday, but when they next play, say, Liverpool, and the form table says "Liverpool W2 D1 L2 , Chelsea W4 D1 L0" , theyll still offer those mixed odds because its Away from Home.
