A privately owned (by Fluffie) Freighter, (un)known to be one of the more unseen, yet speedy Freighters around. Has seen many a long range trip and many a not-so-entirely-legal adventure, but has managed to stay alive so far. However, due to some... "bad business" 'the other day', the Captain and his crew saw the need to vacate to a new region of space, to try their luck there....
The Holodeck was installed after the first long range trip the vessel made - the journey go so boring, it was really deemed necesary to have some sort of entertainment. The 4 Slipstream jets are more for 'car' purposes than for fighting, as the Freighter will try and evade any combat at all - it hasn't got the armor, shields and weaponry to take anything on. The Space Marines were once mercenaries, but are now really considered to be part of the crew.
Any 'odd' crew members and names will be made up as I go along, m'kay?

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

Czar: yes, cluster missiles are homing. They're also about 75 meters long, 10 meters in diameter, slow and they turn like... well.... they barely turn at all. That is, untill they go off, at which point they'll hurl a few dozen small, highly agile and damned fast missiles at their target. Ofcourse that doesn't do you any good if your target is in front of you and your missiles are headed straight away from you.

Fluffie: ship approved... very nice design.. Maybe bring along some more troops and take over enemy ships?

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

fluffie: dock to it, simple isn't it?

oh wait, you don't have much weapons.... Well, you can act like a harmless merchant in the case of pirates or other potentially non-hostiles. In which case they'll probably try to board you by docking...

there are pieces of equipment made specifically for boarding ships when they don't want to be boarded, unfortunately they're not part of the starting equipment and you'll have to find them somewhere in the galaxy

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

do shields need to be down before boarding?

enemy shields that is...

and..

is fighting the only option we're going to have, or will it be more 'open ended' like the original rommey's ?

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

Fluffie: Obviously there are many options, depending ofcourse on the missions you've chosen. Ofcourse fighting will the straightforward option and for most in a lot of cases the easiest.
Oh and yes, shields on BOTH ships need to be down, exceptions to this rule are LDS emitters (on either ship, they don't have the power to damage ships) and black hole emitters (but only if they're on your ship, since a quantum singularity in your hull does hurt a lot)
In addition it is possible to penetrate enemy shields provided your shields are at least equal and your science officer manages to equalize your shields with there shields.
Ofcourse since shields use lots of energy and prevent a lot of things, as well as inhibiting scanners, enemies that haven't the slighest idea you're around will normally have their shields down. That is, untill they hear that distinct "klink" sound of a docking ship, followed shortly afterwards by the sounds of gunfire inside their ship. And yes, docking while cloaked is possible (tough it utterly wrecks the effects of your cloak, so it'll be automatically disengaged the moment you make contact with the target ship)

Somewhat of a "pirate vessel". Or at least, that's some of the even darker part of their history...

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

as promised, but delayed, the missions:

Terran democratic counsil missions:

1) Short range exploratory mission: Long range scanners detected a high-energy spatial anomaly less then 3 light years away in deep space, escort a small science ship to the location to examine this anomaly and determine wether it requires permanent observation and/or is a threat to the station.
risk: very low
pay: 10000 credits
mission type: Escort

2) long range exploratory mission: Starmaps indicate a small solar system about 25 light years from the station, we need to come the exact composition of this solar system as well as the possiblity for colonies to be setup in the immediate area
risk: very low, high neutrino emissions from the star indicate it may be unstable, don't venture close
pay: 25000 credits
mission type: exploration

3) medium range scientific mission: A signal of unknown origin and language has been detected coming from a small solar system, 8 light years out. There is a small mining outpost recently established in that system and we must be sure that the emitter of the signal is not a threat to that station. A diplomat will be joining you on this mission is his scout class ship
risk: low
pay: 35000 credits
mission type: scientific/first contact

4) Pirate patrol: A pirate vessel, frigate class, has been detected in the closest solar system, it is most likely hiding in the nebula on the edge of that system, your mission is simple. Search and destroy, or capture, the pirate vessel.
risk: medium/high, the pirate vessel is carrying an unknown amount of weapons and is equipped with a stealth system, caution is adviced
pay: 50000 credits to whoever destroys or captures the pirate vessel
mission type: search and destroy

enjoy

Mission 3

Mouse (as he is know by those few that know him) walked into the breifing room. Looking slightly tired as usual, but that was the result of far to many sleepless nightes while avoiding those who needed to be avoided. He was ofcource not freshly shaved and would look more like a bum then a starship pilot had it not been for the compression suit that he wore most of the time, and had definantly seen better times.
He seated himself wit his back to the wall, and put his legs up on a chair by his side.
"So where is this signal comming frome. I'm itching to get back out in my ship. I've been sitting on my ass far longer then what's good for me."

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

Fluffie: Why ofcourse you can do stuff on your own if you want

Go trading if you will, I'll make sure there's a little excitement soon anyways, oh and if you want to go trading you'll have to find a way to acquire a full starmap fo the currently colonised space and find trade routes in that area, right now, that's kinda hard

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

Two Ships then.
SH1-V
Attack scout 2500
Eldar Mass-Distortion Drive 5000 (-2 Drive Mounts)
Linear Drive 2500 (-1 Drive Mount)
Linear Drive 2500 (-1 Drive Mount)
Deflector Shield 1000 (-1 Shield)
Singularity Emitter 5000 (-1 Shield)
Stealth Plating 500 (-1 Additional)
Class 2 Stealth 1500 (-2 Additional)
Linear Drive 2500 (-1 Additional)
(Fore) 12" Torpedo Launcher -500 (-4 Weapon Mount)
12" Interdictor Torpedoes 1500
12" Anti-Drive Torpedoes 750
12" Anti-Capital Torpedoes FREE (with Launcher)
12" Anti-Matter Torpedoes 1000
12" Anti-Fighter Torpedoes 400
Tritanium Armour 2000 (-1 Armour)
(Port) Pulse Laser Turret 1500 (-1 Weapon Mount)
(Starboard) Pulse Laser Turret 1500 (-1 Weapon Mount)

The SH1-V is a prototype advanced attack scout vessel. It's superficial appearance is nothing extraordinary, a three-sided, narrow and curved pyramidal shape in matt-black, almost featureless apart from the torpedo launch tube and the two small Pulse Laser Turrets. It's precise technical specifications are classified, but rumours abound that the ship is powered by a relatively new and possibly unstable sub-space quantum singularity well. The three Linear drives are certainly some of the more advanced of their kind, but the cost and energy used in them, relative to the top speed seems still appears rather stupid and inefficient.

THE INTEGUMENT
Freighter -5000
Deflector Shield 1000 (-1 Shield)
Deflector Shield 1000 (-1 Shield)
Impulse Drive 2000 (-1 Engine)
Hyper Drive 500 (-1 Engine)
Workshop 1250 (-4 Additional)
Phased Sensor Array 1500 (-2 Additional)
Holodeck 750 (-1 Additional)
Advanced Computer System 750 (-1 Additional)
Passive Wave Sensor 250 (-1 Additional)
Class One Cloak 1500 (-2 Additional)
Crew Quarters 1 500 (-1 Additional)
(Fore) Point Defence Rocket Launcher -750 (-2 Weapon)
(Fore) Light Massdriver Turret 150 (-0.5 Weapon)
(Fore) Light Massdriver Turret 150 (-0.5 Weapon)
(Port) Light Massdriver Turret 150 (-0.5 Weapon)
(Port) Light Massdriver Turret 150 (-0.5 Weapon)
(Starboard )Light Massdriver Turret 150 (-0.5 Weapon)
(Starboard) Light Massdriver Turret 150 (-0.5 Weapon)
(Aft) Light Massdriver Turret 150 (-0.5 Weapon)
(Aft) Light Massdriver Turret 150 (-0.5 Weapon)
Wardog Heavy Fighter 800 (-2 Fighter)
Wardog Heavy Fighter 800 (-2 Fighter)
Space Marines 1000
Assault Drone 500
Defenders 250
Assault Drone 500
Assault Squad 500
Assault Squad 500

The Integument is a freighter converted into long-range science and recon ship, soon to be decommissioned. Rather than decommission such a large ship immediately it was instead refitted to allow for the maintenance of the SH1-V scout ship and it's sensors and computer systems were upgraded to allow for detailed study of the ship in action. Lightly armed it has a relatively large compliment of troops on board, along with a crack repair team and a few scientists all eager to discover, claim and analyse new technology.

All that, amazingly enough, leaves me with 0 Credits. 15 Tonnes of cargo space left aboard the SH1-V and 493 tonnes on the Integument.

Mission 4 for me

Duke rushed into the briefing room and sat down at the holo-terminal for the briefing. He had to go pirate hunting and take down a stealthy pirate vessel in a neighboring solar system. The Guantlet was currently orbiting the space station, due to a lack of space. The rest of the fleet was docked, or being assembled, literally. He watched as Admiral Flapjack gave out the missions and asked for volunteers.

"I will take Mission 4," said Duke. "I think this old girl is a good enough match for any pirate. The guns may be useless, but I have fighters and a cloak so im all set."

ooc: If i have my fighters deployed, and my cloak up and running at full power, Can i cloak the fighters if they stay close in to my hull? Like would they be affected by the cloaking field if they are really really close?

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

zombie/gokan: ship approved

disrupter: the cloaking system is perfectly adjusted to your hull, tough it is possible to hide the fighters in the cloaking field if they stay really close (within 5 meters or so) to your hull, this will decrease the cloaking device's efficiency and make you easier to detect

all: to give the remaining 5 people a little bit more time to choose a mission, DMing will occur is aprox 10 hours and counting.
oh and all you people going on mission 4, the reward for that only goes to whoever kills/captures the pirate vessel, so 2 people will get 25k credits each if they cooperate. The other missions simply give everyone the same pay, equal to what it says in the mission description.
I'd like 1 more person to take mission 3 btw

My new ship is in my first post. I editted the engines. Bloody hyper drive.

Gokan also wants to do it. He's sitting three feet behind me. [And I'm rather scared...]

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

mouse/heiro/zombie/mad cat: The briefing is brief, a simple repeating signal on all bands is being recieved in a nearby system, the diplomat's scout has just finished refueling and is being launched as we speak, you thus quickly return to your respective ships with little more information then you started with. On your scanners you detect a single scout class ship.

Diplomat class scout:
4 engine mounts
1 shield mount
4 weapon mounts
4 additional mounts

engines:
Eldar pulse reactor drive -4 engine mounts
Slipstream drive -2 engine mounts

shields:
singularity emitter -1 shield mount

weapons:
2x gatling laser cannon -4 weapon mounts

additionals:
2 engine mounts -2 additional mounts
2x armor mountings -2 additional mounts

general comms: "Well gentlemen, let's move into formation and get us out of here and to that... thing, as soon as possible."

fluffie: Your briefing commenses immediatly after the people from mission 3 leave the briefing room and you're out almost before you entered. A small officer hands you a datapad containing the coordinates of the target solar system and wishes you luck, then sends you back on your way.

Bakan/Hewitt/disrupter: Your briefing is the longest of all, and after about an hour of watching 3d images of the target area and reading reports of the pirate's attack, the briefing officer concludes you're ready to go and sends you on your way, together with his wishing you good luck and a good hunt.

all: As your ships get on their way a massive slipstream spike occurs just on the edge of your sensor range, from the signature you detect a ship.

Mobile starbase class "Doomsday":
15 engine mounts
22 armor mounts
120 shield mounts
1200 weapon mounts in all directions
160 additional mounts
512 fighter mounts
15000 tonnes of cargo space

Mouse quickly runs to his ship and jumps in. Okay Stinger let's get moving. Seems we're supposed to follow that ship over there.
*points to the diplomats ship*
He vaults himself over the back of the seat and lands nicely in the seat, and begins strapping himself in as the ship prepeares to make the jump to hyperspace.
Just as he's about to go flying of a huge ship appeares on his screen.
"Whoha looks like someone called for the big guns"
He then proceeds to quickly jump into hyperspce after the diplomat ship.
"So stinger looks like we've done it again. working for the governmetn. bah I'd spit but I know how ya feel bout that"

I take it that huge thing is friendly...

//

After the briefing, Fluffie returns to the bridge of his Freighter. Handing the datapad to his SO and Helm, he has them plot a course. Ordering Engineering to fully power up the ship's Engines, the Freighter undocks some time later and moves away from the station, jumping to FTL speeds moments after.

Sitting in his chair, the Cap'n looks at his crew. Smiling, he raises his shoulders a bit.

"Another long trip, eh... Give everyone their Holodeck time, keep our Stealth and Cloaking Systems on the ready and warn me if there's anything on long range sensors - or at anything 'disturbing' at all. I'll be in my quarters..."

And with that, Fluffie withdraws for a quick nap.

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

Gokan sits in the captains chair on the Integument's bridge.

"Status?" he asks.

"Hyperdrive and Impulse engines are powered. All systems report green, ready to launch." says the integuments captain, Gerald Venek, to whom Gokan was only senior by 3 months.

"How's the SH1-V?"

"Also ready to launch."

Gokan grins. "Plot a course to follow the diplomats, prepare to launch the SH1-V. I'm going on a little test drive. Oh and tell Science to get some rest, if we're lucky they may have some new technology to analyse at the end of this," standing Gokan heads to the turbolift at the rear of the bridge. "You have command Venek."
----------------------------------------------
Gokan boards the SH1-V. Small though the ship was and with it's crew of five, it wasn't especially cramped. He sits down in the main pilots chair.

"How's it been?" he asks the small crew seated slightly behind him.

"Fine." Comes the unanimous reply.

Gokan presses a small touch-panel. "This is the SH1-V, requesting launch clearance."

"Permission granted SH1-V. Don't do anything stupid James." Came Venek's voice over the comm.

"I won't, I promise."

Gokan carefully pilots the SH1-V out of the cargo bay doors.

"Synchronising Linear Wave generators." he said, almost unconciously. Behind him he heard the others go through whatever pre-lightspeed travel rituals they had developed over the years.

Gokan's hands deftly flew over the control panels as he plotted a course. Then he reactivated the comm.

"About to jump to FTL. Don't get too far behind now." said Gokan jokingly.

With that, he pressed the final actuator control. The first linear drive fired up, followed a few microseconds by the second and then the third. Stars blurred on the viewscreen, and around the edges, three bubbling spectrum rich bands of subspace were barely visible.

The internal comm system blared into life.

"The ventral drive's almost 0.03 milliseconds out of sync. Looks like we're going to need a better computer in order to get the maximum out of this drive configuration." said his main engineer, who seemed quite at home with the new reactor and very cramped engineering section.

"Roger that, adjusting course to compensate... And I'll look into making engineering even more cramped with a new computer core." Gokan heard the engineer chuckle before he switched off the comm.

"The journey shouldn't be long. We're not the fastest ship in the fleet, but we can outrun most things." said Fikus, who passed for a sensor officer aboard the SH1-V.

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

“Scal, release clamps.”

Echoes a voice around the main chamber, smiling to him, Scal does as he is asked. Trust is an important factor in these things. Feeling the inertia of the outer hull bracing hard against the clamp to the dock, scal relaxes. Within seconds the small metal fixtures side from the slots in the hull and with a pulse of agreement, the engines adjust a fraction of a volt in power, keeping the ship steady as its own gravitational field re-asserts itself and the surface that had holes for clamps moments ago, returns to its perfect, jet black pulsing curve.

“Thank you, Scal”
“You’re welcome, Ro.”

They’re on the outer deck, within moments they will move past my heart and into the breathing systems, where they will receive the shots required for the nitrous atmosphere that I breathe. Once through there, they will head on to the crew quarters, and pick consult with the defense crew.
All this I know.
How I wish I could be more help.

*

Ro strides through the threshold, with him the walks Malaki, sergeant of the guard. Smiling across, Ro watches the hull seal behind them, and waits for the moment of nausea that accompanies free flight. The second after it passes, both Malaki and he take a small tablet from the casing to their left. Once ingested, they move on. Speaking out loud whilst he gestures to the open lift door to his left, Ro tries to sound happy.

“We should be hunting pirates. But still. We need a test, and some money. Scal, you listening?”
“Yes, I am.”
“Prepare the linear drive for travel”
“Aye, captain. Scanners show a ship just entered light speed, on the same heading as us, give or take a few calculation errors.”
“Three drives?”
“Yes.”
“Set a pursuit course, save some time”
“Consider it done”

The ship shakes for a second, Ro and Malaki allow their sea legs to kick in, swaying with the force of the movement, and as things return to normal, Ro bursts out laughing.

“Ro, What is it?”
“Just the thought that we’ve got to tell 8 squads of trained guardsmen that no one is flying the ship…”
Giving a sly wink, he hits the turbolift keypad, and the doors swish closed…

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

mad cat/mouse/zombie/heiro: You arrive at your destination after about 10 minutes travel after having travelled the whole distance at the meager speed of around 25lyph. Being the speed of the slowest ship in the convoy. When you arrive at target you quickly notice you're almost dead on top of the transmission.

Tau proxima 233 system.
small blue star
3 planets, 2 asteroid belts. The asteroid mining station is in the belt closest to the star.

scanners are picking up a small object, 5 million kilometers dead ahead:

unknown object: currently an unknown object, no detailed scans are availble
distance: 5 million kilometers.
danger rating: unknown, object appears to be inactive apart from the transmission
notes: Mission objective, unscannable at current range.

Fluffie: After only 2 minutes in slipstream, you arrive at the solar system. There are several small energy signatures coming from the outer asteroid belt, closest to where you are now.

Gelsar system.
average yellow star
5 planets, 4 asteroid belts. At least 2 of the asteroid belts where previously planets as well.

small rocky planet, closest to the sun: No anomalies, single small moon barely big enough to call a moon. No atmosphere

Large forest planet, second planet from the sun: Massive amounts of vegitation, 1.5 times earth gravity, 25% of the planet is covered in water. Average surface temperature is around 18 degrees celcius. exact atmospheric composition could not be determined at current range but is most likely an oxygen-nitrogen mix. 2 medium sized moons

Medium ocean planet, third planet from the sun: 99% of planet covered in water, lifeforms detected near the equatorial regions. Average temperature of 8 degrees celcius, gravity is approximately 0.9 times earth gravity. Atmosphere is an oxygen-carbon dioxide mix. 8 small moons, 2 large moons

Small gas giant, fourth planet from the sun: 25 times earth gravity, atmospheric depth of 1000km or more, no rings, at least 18 moons detected in high orbit over the planet.

Huge gas giant, fifth and last planet from the sun: 500+ times earth gravity, ring system extending 500000 kilometers from the planet's outer atmosphere, at least 50 moons detected inside and on the edge of the ring system. atmosphere contains aproximately 2% tritium. DO NOT APPROACH, HIGH GRAVITY.

Ro sighs.

“Malaki, Tell the men the mission, the news and to expect trouble. No doubt we’ll be seeing some soon”
“Ok Ro. Drive safe”
“Oh, you know me. They’ll have me over for reckless endangerment next.”
Malaki’s laugh echoed down the corridor, and members of the crew poked out to investigate. With that parting note, Ro turns and presses the keycode to unlock the last button on the lift. Bridge command.

“Scal, try and scan it again. And bring our sublight drives online. Full power if you please. I want to be out any trouble the moment it occurs. Prime the weapons also. Discretely mind you. Oh, Open a channel to the diplomat.”
“Oh, not too demanding then”
“Your IQ is in excess of 200. You have more processing power than most large computer consoles have. Make use of it.”
“Aye sir, Channel Open”

This is the captain of the bioship Scal. Care to enlighten us to the situation. And what the hell is that?

Heiro: The diplomat immediatly responds, apparently surprised with the fact you didn't realise what 'it' is. "That, is our mission objective. For the moment we can sit back while I try to translate the message, if it's a distress call like we suspect, 1 of your ships will have to move and board the vessel, but before we do that I'll try to establish a communications link to it."

You'll have to excuse my lack of subtly in the matter, My ship had all the mission details, and is careless in it's distrubuting.

"We wait for the signal."

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

Captain Venek watched the thing carefully, the advanced scanners on board the integument reaping terrabytes of data every second. Which is closely scrutinised by a the scientific crew, fed into the ships main computer, then analysed again by the scientists.

"Any ideas?" came Gokan's voice over the comms.

Venek flicks a switch on his command chair.

"We're drawing a blank. Standard active's get nothing, and the only thing we're detecting on passives is the transmission."

"Is it stealthed, or just out of range?" asked Gokan again.

Venek paused to confer with the Science officer who acted as mediator between the scientific team and the main crew. "A little of both we think." said Venek into the comm.

"You tried the Phased Array yet?"

"We're still waiting for either a result, or lack thereof, from our diplomat friend out there. This phased sensor array is pretty high powered. Could seem like a weapon to them." replied Venek.

"Considered asking the diplomat? I'm sure he wouldn't mind a little more detailed information."

"I'll do that James."

With that, Venek shifted the comms link into idle and open another channel with the Diplomats ship.

"This is Captain Francis Venek of the Integument. We're currently in possession of a Phased Sensor array. We haven't used it to scan the object yet, would you care to give us the go-ahead? It's range is longer than standard sensors, we should be able to detect something without getting too close."

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

Duke leans back in his chair and remembers that he is a captain of a starship. He gets up and dashes off to the bridge. Duke turns into the bridge and sits at his chair and starts typing up data displays.
"Ensign, I want all crews to their stations, get this bucket of bolts ready to go."
"Aye sir"
Duke turned on the com to the hangar bay.
"Alright you boys. Were gonna be making the jump soon so get shut eye while you can. You are on leave for now. I will have you awoken one hour before we reach the system. Once we reach it, you boys will be dumped out. I want you to make a screen for us until the situation is scanned. Once scanned, we will give you instructions. Duke out"
Duke hit the com button again and ended the conversation with the hangar.
"Ensign, get me a status report."
"Aye sir..........The ship is at resting power, 75 percent. Shields are green, weapons and ships green. Were ready to launch and can bring all systems up to full power on your request."
"Very good Ensign, that is all."
Duke leaned back in the captain's seat and put his feet up. All he had to do now was wait for the orders to go.

Grinning as he returns to the bridge, Fluffie shrugs.

"So what if I thought it'd be longer. Tee hee."

The SO reports, while the Helmsman automatically steers clear of the fifth planet - nastiness lived there. Having the basic scans, Fluffie decides to do a good job and orders his Helm to plot a (safe) course past all the planets and the asteroid belts to get more detailed scans. The fifth planet is still a big no-no though....

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

The Stingray quickly jerks out of hyperspace, almost sending Mouse out of his chair. But he's used to that by now, it's a long standing joke between the two.
Mouse takes a quick look at the computer screen to see if the sensors are picking anything up, but quickly realizes that they are out of range.
"Think we'll need to get closer. Might be an idea to contact the diplomat to find out what t the gameplan is."
Mouse quickly flikks a few switches to open up a com-link.
"Rise and shine guys. Looks like we are to far away to get a clear scan. Requesting permission to go in for a closer look."
As the comlink closes Mouse get's out of his seat to streach his legs a little.
"So old chap what do you reckon of this mission. Fairly straight forwards I'd assume.... but I don't like assuming."
Mouse paces around impatiently while waiting for the reply frome the diplomat.
"Is there any sign of anything out of the usual around?"
The ship quickly reports back "Nothing worth noting on my scanners. I'll keep you posted."

ooc/ Disrupter, I'm still waiting for Hewitt to post, however you might want to note you're not getting an order to launch. The mission you're on is a mercenary kind of mission /ooc

ooc/ no, you can post undocking and leaving now. But it won't have an effect untill after Hewitt posts so I can DM your departure and tell you what the area looks like in 1 dm post instead of 3 /ooc

Re: Beyond the known, the next galaxy

mad cat/heiro/mouse/zombie: The Diplomat sets to work translating but after a few minutes you recieve a distress call from the asteroid mining outpost.
"This is Tau Proxima 233 mining outpost to all vessels, we are under attack by 2 unknown strike corvette class ships, our shields will not last long. Please assist."

Czar: You're a tad late to go on mission 2, Fluffie has already left on that mission

Bakan/Disrupter: Your ships quickly leave the station after the briefing and head for the target system, unfortunately you manage to exit FTL in the middle of the nebula.

SO: "Sir, we're blind as a bat in here, we couldn't see that pirate coming if it was sitting right on top of us."

FC: "Unable to deploy fighters in this nebula, we can't see a thing and they wouldn't be able to either."

Hewitt: You're still at the spacestation after watching Bakan and Disrupter leave, get a move on.

Fluffie: Your ship quickly begins moving, rapidly closing on the fifth planet first, stopping only a few hundred kilometers from the danger area and makes a methodical short range scan of the planet, which contains vast amounts of valuable Tritium and lots of other valuable materials in the asteroid belt. You also detect a frigate sized ship on 1 of the moons closest to the planet.
