Renee (Jean Claude Van Damme) is a normal cop who when his Twin brother dies at the hands of vicous mobsters vows to take revenge on all of them, and anyone who gets in his way.

Mia (Halle Berry) plays a feisty woman whose father ( a scientist) has mysteriously dissappeared whilst working for the mobsters. She vows to find out what happened to her father. Meets Renee but doesn't fall for his charm (well not until the very end). They team up. \o/

Don Allesandro (Andy Garcia) plays the head mobster, who killed Renee's brother and has kidnapped Mia's father. Ends up sleeping with Mia in some pointless sub-plot. Also gets to act pretend mobster like Andy Hunter from EastEnders. Ends up being killed by Renee in some way which leads it open for another sequel or 5.
