Re: [football] the big league 2005
sorry there isn't a proper update but I don't have access to my files atm, and the reason is a dull story involving a new hard drive, a scratched xp disk and a replacement from limewire packed with dodgy toolbars and adware
edit : so I downloaded yet another iso and this one turned out to be a mislabelled office xp disk but I found a good torrent this afternoon and now everything is fine, and I'm reinstalling stuff right now and will update anything that needs it "tomorrow". Probably.

yes if you find out and edit your post between now and kick-off
what you can't do is name two players and say you want the second if the first doesn't play - I'll always use whatever is in the main prediction

So my naming of 2 players doesn't count either? Bah worth a try!
What if I get 1/2 points if I get it right

Re: [football] the big league 2005
ah, hedging my bets, especially with the predictions so close, a lot can depend on scorer and time, however i think that it will be before then, but needed a bigger spread (it makes sense to me)

And can i just say Phang shouldnt have the points for Drogba as he specified 2 different players and did NOT change to Drogba before kickoff. And previously this week, someone else was told to name one player and one player only.

I'm assuming it's because Drogba's name was 1st, in the sam way he'd have taken Carsley for me (I wasn't expecting any points from Cahill scoring, just merely put it to show by indecisiveness of who to put down). I may be wrong though.

i've never seen both players START the match. if gudjohnsen came on as a sub and scored the first goal, i wouldn't expect the point for it, and if both started, same. but since jose randomly chooses one of them to start before each match it's hard to guess which he'll go with. i don't see that it's so bad to say that it's going to be whichver he chooses rather than having to enter a lottery for it

As 1-X stated to the other individual who said this , you should have waited till just before kick off and edited your post. As long as the edit was before 3pm , the prediction would have counted.
Its like saying "I predict Rooney or Saha or Smith to score first, which ever one plays" , theres no line in the sand, you could list an entire team in one position (and at Spurs , theres enough strikers to actually do that).

yes, I used Drogba simply because it was the first name. I never checked who actually started
