[Football] Free Football
I've heard of websites which stream football for free. I want to watch the Chelsea-Liverpool game tonight but I don't want to go to the pub on my own.
Anyone know of any good sites?

www.myp2p.eu
Click on Weekday under Football, then click on the chelsea match if thats the one you want.
Download sopcast (there should be a link to sopcast on the left) install it.
Click on the link under sopcast which says play. Click play and enjoy.
If that wasn't clear read the instructions of that site. Clear picture, English Sound, good stuff.

Re: [Football] Free Football
thanks, I'll use that in the future. In the end I went to a working Mens Club to watch it with my mate who is a Liverpool fan. Everyone in the pub apart from me and his brother (who is also a Chelsea fan) were Liverpool fans.
I did not feel comfortable.

They currently seem to be testing it in Denmark and the UK. You might be able to apply for an account if you live there.

Re: [Football] Free Football
Theyre pretty much all terrible, youll just have your stream interupted every few minutes for buffering. I mean sure, use it if you have no other option and dont care that much, but dont put your hopes on actually being able to watch it.

Well I stopped all my downloads and settled down to watch the second half of the game yesterday and I had no problems. the picture wasn't exactly hi-def but it was good enough to watch the game.
After some initial problems I managed to get it to stream perfectly, without any interuptions whatsoever.

Re: [Football] Free Football
Yeah they work sometimes, but are fairly unreliable in general. As I said, I'd advise aganist relying it on it for a game youre really wanting to watch.

Re: [Football] Free Football
But it does have the advantage of being both free and a way to avoid social situations.

Depends on your internet connection. 2Mbit is the minimum, although I survive fine on it. Anything better than 4Mbit and you won't have any problems at all.
Sometimes it's just a case of looking for good streams - Sopcast Channel 2104 always works wonders for me.

Re: [Football] Free Football
OK. I'm calling this thread back from the dead.
For the one game of last season I wanted this, I had no problem.
Now I can't get it to work for more than a second.
