ETD Race Bonus'

As it stand i feel that the race Bonus' for the ETD are way to strong. With good stats and ridiculous bonus' i believe this is creating an inbalance in the game.
From the Manual - Races

Terran
They can produce constructions 30% faster than normal, and a 10% production bonus too. Their stealth level is only 90 by default.

Cathaar
Their research levels have a 20% bonus, but their construction rates are 10% slower. Their stealth level is 100 by default.


Xandathrii
They have a 15% construction bonus and a 10% production bonus, but their research is 15% slower. Their covert op stealth level is 90 by default.

Zikonian
They can produce ships 20% faster, and their default Stealth level is 100, the same as Cathaar.

Eitrades
They have a 15% construction bonus and a 10% production bonus, and they also trade more cheaply with the universe fund. Their default stealth level is 90.

From the Formula Page
Cathaar and Eitraides get a bonus of 20% and 40% on these salvage rates respectively - so for example Cathaar get 18% and 24% from their share of salvage from attackers and defenders respectively.

The Etd have in effect the same bonus' as the xan, but xan's have a 15% penalty in research. On top of the xans the Etd can also trade on the open market at 5% (all other races can only do so at 25% cost). Also Etd get more salvage than Xan, Zik, Ter. This seems very very stong with no negative bonus' and more positive effects then any race.
I dont think that ETD should have extra salvage as they have some of each ship so the emp ships are well balanced within the fleet.

With last round having mostly all Etd in the t100 can we really allow them to have such strong race bonus' ???

Apparantly we can, this has been noted to PaTeam in the past aswell and hasn't changed sofar. Personally i think the salvage bonus from Etd should be moved to Terran, seeing terran always fire late and generally get half their fleet annihilated if they do plan on firing (or simply ain't on to run). But it seems the PaTeam is content with the 'balance' between race, governments and stats.

Swapping etd and terran salvage bonuses would help balance things out a bit. I'd say it'd help cathaar but they're just fubar really.

I guess the original plan was that xandathrii weak racials compensate for strong cloaking a bit. They just forgot at the eitrades part that strong racials should be compensated with weaker ships.
