Your galaxy has dropped into the lower 10%, disband now available.
I have found this message, on top of every screen to be a little demoralizing. Group hugs anyone?

Agreed. My BP has so far thwarted about 6 attempts to disband the galaxy and though demoralised, we will persevere.

Hi there! Also the message is gone. But I fear that it will only take one wave for it to come back. :/

Can every bottom 10% galaxy disband please? This way we'd end up with a universe consisting with 9 galaxies in the end. Would be awsome in an internet-kind-of-way.

my gal thwarted 9 attempts over 3 ticks once
we aren't really trying hard to persevere though

It's just our version of the weakest link
Feedback on the way we've changed this disband thing doesn't tend to be too positive though - do people prefer this way to the other way?

Re: Your galaxy has dropped into the lower 10%, disband now available.
well, i could see the new way working better in some galaxies where people tend to exile out instead of waiting for enough people to log on and disband, which was where the problem was in the old system. if you had a big amount of inactive people, the disband would never be voted on.
one thing that might be interesting is to combine both systems. the new way now disbands after 48 ticks (i think?). maybe make it so you could vote 'no' to stop the disband and vote 'yes' to speed it up? this would allow buddy packs that were disbanding less downtime to do so, and it would also allow the less active galaxies to disband using the new system.
could also be nice to be prevented from gaining new planets within the last 6-12 ticks or so before disband to keep them from affecting the voting too much, or by preventing new account sign ups from voting at all until they have existed for 36 ticks. this last suggestion is party due to the personal experiences i had this round where a new sign up kept initiating the disband sequence and never bothered to get on irc to see if the galaxy was actually active and such.

I don't mind the new method of disbanding, the thing I disagree with is the constant displaying of an offer to disband the galaxy.

Its fine, but does it need to be on the top of every damned page though? It's demoralizing and noisy.
