LIVE-SHOT is similar to a trip to the rifle range with one very notable exception. Everything is done through a computer and the internet. A paid membership will allow for access to the range viewing camera(s) at any time. Members can then schedule a reserved session time which allows exclusive control of the shooting system to fire at a choice of various reactive targets. Please note that the shooting range is an outdoor facility located on a secluded ranch in the Texas hill country. Please take this into consideration while shooting is taking place, as weather can affect accuracy.

At all times during a shooting session, someone is at the shooting station and is available to answer questions (e-mail, instant messaging), provide assistance, and ensure a quality experience. This person has the ability to override the firing mechanism of the system to minimize the chance of a dangerous or illegal discharge from occurring.

I actually think this site is disgusting for the fact it offers internet nerds the chance to shoot live animals. I read about it in the paper this morning and cant believe something like this would be offered. Its as bad as canned hunting.

I dont agree with hunting full stop, but if you are going to do it at least get out there and do it in the flesh where the animal has a chance to gore you first before being shot at for fun. Or better still the big fat old hunter might trip and break something. Bone hopefully.

DOS attack this site I say, keep it from being functional.

Hunting animals is our instinct (doing it with rifles and tcp/ip packets is not what evolution had in mind tho i am sure)

I've been following this for a while, and I really can't believe it's even legal.

Not only does it seem just a wee bit dangerous, it defeats the entire purpose of actually going hunting.



For the record, I am a native Texan and an occasional hunter. I do not endorse nor would I use this product/service.
