That nasal American one, though throw any accent through a restricted septum and you've got one irritating, spine grating, head wrecking accent.

Though having to deal with it every day, the Gernan accent is getting on my nerves. Mainly cause it reminds me of playing Return To Castle Wolfenstein and Call Of Duty all day.

I must admit the South African is up there.
I don't find any British accents annoying, but some are funny.

I find if I'm speaking to someone with a thick accent for a while I'll start to mimmick (sp?) it which is annoying.

The Irish accent in Cork is pretty damn awful. Dubliners have a nice accent but people from Cork are impossible to understand.
Proper towny scousers can be annoying too.
Canadian French accents are a bit bad.
German (but not austrian or swiss german) sounds nasty too.

I hear you on the South African though, Although there are probably worse combinations than with Yorkshire. I quite like the yorkshire accent... especially on girls.

I'm not sure I know what people mean when they say South African accent...The Afrikaaners sound very different from the "English" who sound different from the coloureds who sound different from the blacks.

The Afrikaaners is a pretty harsh accent though, I suppose.

I don't really hate any accent although certain Scottish & West African accents can be difficult.

I didn't really struggle with any of the accents (or find then annoying) when I was in South Africa. What I did find hard to get used to was people constantly saying 'Ya!' for yes and 'Is it' where we would probably say 'Is that right' or 'Really?!' or some such.
