Research to be done: Sentinel tech research(L1): Sentinel tech research is the research to see wether or not small, semi-autonomous battle drones equipped with plasma or proton weapons would be of significant use, it is required for all other researches in this line and all researches in this line of research

Sentinel defender installation(L1): Grants access to the sentinel defender emplacement and the sentinel defender module, the first is a small installation that looks like a SAM launcher, but with 10 shutters can be opened, each shutter is the home to a sentinel defender drone, which is equipped with a small personal shield generator, a semi-tough layer of armor and a focused energy beam weapon, which tough less efficient then plasma or proton weapons is a lot smaller and thus much easier to fit into a 1,25m by 0,75m by 0,5m drone. The drones are most adapt to taking out infantry, but can still destroy vehicles when focusing their firepower. Each defender is controlled by a rudimentary AI and a powerfull communications and sensor grid, this allows the drones to cooperate effectively and allows them to defend eachother when needed. The sentinel defender module is a large building, which when built into a colony pod can house 250 sentinel drones under normal circumstances and can maintain up to 400 sentinel defender drones for a limited period of time.

Mobile drone command(L2): A small APC like vehicle, carrying and maintaining 10 sentinel attacker drones, the only difference with the sentinel defender drones is their programming. Sentinel attacker drones are programmed to attack the enemy and roam far from the mobile drone command.

Sentinel bomber(L2): a conventional bomber, loaded with sentinel attacker drones in special cartridges, the "bombs" are dropped over an enemy base and when they come close to the ground, they drop the cartridges and the sentinels are released, the sentinels will then attack enemy forces inside a colony or aid in the defense of said colony. Unfortunately most such attacks are suicide attacks on the side of the sentinels and therefore half of the cost of the bomber is actaully represented by the sentinels and each use of the bomber thus requires rearming at the cost of 1 slot.

well, most of my base defenses are moveable, just the single most powerfull current base defense isn't, namely the Sentinel Defender module and the other smaller defense thingies, of which i don't have a lot do i?

The mobile sentinel command thingies are fully mobile, tough they're supposed to sit inside the base and use their sentinels to attack, as the command vehicles themselves are lightly armoured, normally shielded and unarmed.
