Games Games Games!
Favourite ones, to be precise.
I've only just realised that LoZ: A Link to the Past is one of my favourite games. I've been playing it repeatedly for years, but it never struck me before.
Alpha Centauri, ditto. I've only just started to appreciate the value of needlejets, too.

being new does not diminish thw sheer best game ever status of Vice City, so Vice City. Broken Sword is second on the pretty damn rocking list.

Re: Games Games Games!
FInal Fantasy X on the PS2 has been by favourite game on any Platform.
It's one of the only games which truly moved me and made me care about the characters.
Also the story rocked and the GRaphics were amazing.
My Favourite Multiplayer game has to be CS. Oh the fun I've had with a few m8s some beer and a few games of CS.

I'm not a fan of Vice City. To my mind, it falls into the same sphere of 'decent in places but generally mediocre' as Call of Duty, Far Cry and the like.
Other games I just can't play enough are Freespace 2, Civ 2, Baldur's Gate 2/Torment and Mario 3, and my preferred FPS is Unreal Tournament 2004.
[edit]
My favourite genre is the RTS, but their single players are all rubbish (well, except WC3, but even then the MP is better), so they're not appearing on the list.

I've never been a fan of the Final Fantasies, I don't really like their style.
However, there remains only one game that I've preordered, and that game is UT2K4.
[edit]
How did I forget to mention Arc/BeebElite?

Re: Games Games Games!
Fallout 2
Heroes of Might & Magic 2 & 3
Might & Magic 2 (The only good M&M out of the whole series)
FF3 on the NES
Bubble Bobble
Puzzle Bobble
FFVII (regardless of the critique's at the time it was simply the best RPG about)
Ridge Racer (this imo was what put the PS on the map when it first came out)
Destruction Derby
The Alex Kidd Series on the Master System
Sonic The Hedgehog
Golden Axe 2
Streets of Rage 2
Street Fighter 2
Tekken
Tetris
Windows Solataire
Super mario on the Gameboy
Starcraft
Half-Life and it's best mod Counterstrike
Diablo II (For it's time quality)
Advanced Soccer Manager for the Spectrum Sinclair, Beats Champ manager hands down for being not only a good football manager but also for being lazy and blending all of the scottish and UK teams into a 4 division system.

I almost got suspended from school when I installed Golden Axe on the school network.
Therefore it has a special place in my heart despite the fact it wasn't actually very good.

Re: Games Games Games!
golden axe was an utter classic!
you had to kill death adder then in one of the versions kill death adders boss who never got named as far as i know.
also the dwarf was the best, the extra length of weaponness outweighed the crappy magic.
people had many many fights playing it at mine for possession of the monsters

Chucky Egg 2, Treasure Island Dizzy and Atic Atac on the Spectrum, I don't recall exactly what I liked about them at the time but I wasted months on them.
New Zealand Story, Populous, Prince of Persia, Shadow of the Beast, Lemmings, Monkey Island 2, Cannon Fodder, Alien Breed, Desert Strike, Settlers, Syndicate, Micro Machines, Theme Park and Chaos Engine on the Amiga (oh shit I almost forgot Sensible World of Soccer)
On the PC, Sim City 2000 & Sim City 4, C&C Red Alert, Red Alert 2, Tiberian Sun and Generals, IL2 Sturmovik, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Unreal Tournament and Tactical Ops mod, Mafia, FIFA World Cup 2002, StarCraft, Need for Speed Underground, Quake 2, GTA 3 and Uplink
It's a long list but each of those has been my favourite game at some point.
