Pay by phone?

An option to by by phone. It will be easyer for people to join in. Everybody has a phone. This will certain increase the amount of people in the uni.

In essence a good idea, but I believe paying by phone in not a service offered in every European country plus it needs contracting etc which may be expensive for poor old Pete.

Is it actually needed? The free game is sufficient enough for those players who aren't able to pay by card.

Given how few players there are in the game, the time it would take to set this up, the amount of revenue lost in each transaction - is it really worth it? At the moment it's cheaper for whoever runs the game to get these players to convince their friends to donate credits.

I think you'd need to look into free vs paid accounts before considering this one. Offering many convenient payment options is essential if you need a low barrier to entry to encourage people to upgrade, but at the moment free accounts are good enough for people.

it would make paying for me much easier, without having to upload cash to my paypal account (if this payment would still be possible at all)
and it maybe would make some ppl pay, who wouldnt otherwise
its so easy to just dial a number and pay your account, you do it drunk, half asleep etc
if you have to use your credit card or if u dont have one and have to run around finding another solution it will prevent you from paying, as there is too much thinking about it involved

if its really costing that much to implement it, accounts payd by phone could be 1 or 2 pounds more
