Planetarion as "one of the most successfull MMPOG"
Hi

I just read this article on heise, Germans (europe's?) best and most known computer-information-portal

English version here.

It names Planetarion as one out of two "most successfull" MMPOG.

It's a shame that Jolt doesnt care about the game at all.

It is indeed a shame that Jolt doesnt care. And the fact that the current PA team lacks both the time, funds and resources to do anything about the game except giving it minor revamps and remodelings. But have no fear, Spinner is working on a new game!

Who will they be paying, PA Team?

The problem is that nearly all members of PA Team and other people involved in Planetarion don't have as much time as they used to, so we're left with a game which gets a few minor changes each round. Jolt lets PA Team run things as they like, even though the game badly needs new people to improve it things tend to stay the same. Why resign from your position if the people you're with don't complain that you're not pulling your weight?

Until this problem is solve Planetarion isn't going to move forwards, it'll linger in it's current state.

You're making an assumption, and basing your conclusion on that, without regard of whether or not your assumption is correct. Thus you're prematurely condeming their plan.

Planetarion has always lacked money and marketing to really make it the game it deserves to be.

Planetarion was one of the most successful massively multiplayer online games.

With such little enthusiasm from both Jolt and PA Team it's hardly surprising that things have deteriorated over time.
