So i waltz into the mitchell Library in Glasgow the other day trying to trace the name of the man who my mum was married to before my dad. ( YES I DID JUST FIND OUT HE MAY BE MY REAL DAD HENCE THE NEED TO CONTACT HIM!)
Anyway after an hour or so the 3 bottles or ribena and an egg roll at breakfast kick in and i must make my 11.35 appointment with the bathroom fairy. Imagine my delight when sitting on the pan i look up and there, like a vision, in graffiti is the following :

It came as no surprise that www.dace.co.uk is a site run by an 'artist' who paints portraits of children.

Several sittings will be required and I shall also take photographs. Individual requirements vary but in general I prefer to work from live sittings whenever possible as it gives a much more alive result. Reckon on up to six sittings of about one and a half hours each (shorter and fewer sittings for young children, longer for older sitters depending on tolerance: I do not want to bore my sitters).
