well ter bs own zik, xan and ter - so there should be no shortage of targets out there
edit: no other attackfleet I can see, that can take on 3 races

no race will be an xp planet in this round with that formula, also when zik/cat/ter can be roided a lot easier than xan, i doubt they need upgrading in any sense

I remember in 2nd half of rd 18, the round xp-formula is taken from, we had a cat-cr battlegroup in ToF that made fear the big planets, we clearly played for xp and speaking for myself, I really did fine with it.

I fail to see how cath, ter or zik are _easier_ to roid than xan:

If i were a terran with bs, first target that comes to mind is xan.
If i were an etd with bs, same.
If i were a xan with fr, same. Probably i will look for ziks too, until they steal other anti-fr.

If I played i would go Terran.

Cath CR has been mentioned, and xan fi\co can take on mostly anything.
Sure their BS aint bad, but their DE isnt too good and they cant defend themself for ****.

Not really. Tarantula isn't efficient enough to stun a battleship fleet of large value.

apparently stats are final, i tried to make suggestions lastnight to monroe, but he's pretty much resigned himself to his fate (quote not opinion) and cant be bothered to change the stats any more.

only thing i'd say is etd are a bit too good defensively, and their co is a bit too weak and cath cr are a bit too good.

i suggested changes to combat all 3 issues but monroe didnt want to change the targeting inits or 'type' of the ships in question. the chnages suggested would have made etd a viable option to attack for CO and Xan Fi/Co, and alowed etd to not worry so much about Cath cr incs (which are really overpowered atm). i made my case, he agreed, but didn't want to try them. go figure.

Still, I've said it before, these stats aren't horrendous, but keeping rocks this round will be damned hard.

So the stats on the portal manual are the final stats? Or is it the stats shown on the beta manual?

The "point" was to make every race able to attack every race, which naturally results in little defence ships in a 5 race setup. I don't know WHY every race has to be able to attack every other race, there are five races after all.

Terrans BS fleet is good while its DE fleet has such an immense amount of things targetting it. Its also far to easy to roid terrans making the roids they get not last very long.

Yeah, and with the fresh Scorpion the battleship fleet has ceased being so good too. There are now two zero-lossers against it (too). Prefer xandathrii fighters and corvettes for versatile three fleeting for the eight weeks to come.

can someone suggest that the scorpion empres be changed to about 64 please? im at work and cant get on irc to suggest it.

at the moment you need 7.1 guns to stun a scorpion, which cost 10461 resources, and the scorpion only costs 3800 to build.

that means 100k value of Tulas could only stun 36.3k value of scorpions, which is a bit ridiculous and makes the scorpion a horrendously powerful empflack ship.

if you change it to 64, then you need 2.6 guns which cost 4068 resources, meaning 100k value tulas will stun 93.4k of scorpion (making it the second most expensive overall ship to stun, but still maintaining its status as the best emp resistant (per cost) battleship)

the final stats are the ones in beta manual, those in portal manual are still the old ones from before beta
