the new American $20 bill
the new $20 bill basically looks like shit. I've seen Fisher Price and Milton Bradley design more authentic looking money.
Whatever their damn printing presses can do, my color laser printer can do better, and I'll still be able to dupe the pizza delivery man with my fake bill
(not that I really have ever done this, nor will, nor do I condone this and/or nor shall this statement be taken as anything other than a fictional account used to critize the capabilities of publicly available printers to create authentic looking money)heh
gayest smilies ever:

Euro notes win the 'worst, most embarrassing money ever' prize.

Be happy you didn't see the dutch monopoly money from the last 10 years before the Euro. I quite like the Euro bills in comparison.

They should have dumped Jackson though. He was a mediocre President and there don't appear to be any portraits of him done when he wasn't having a bad hair day.

Hey, he did do that 'getting rid of all the Indians' thing, didn't he?
And imo money's natural color is green.

Clearly you are wrong, Andrew Jackson stormed with his army into Florida, taking that shit for Mickey Mouse, Miami Vice, and bootlyicious bikini babes from Cuba. Also I think he is the only U.S. president ever to be impeached and removed from office (Bill only got impeached). He did make a come back and become a senator later.

Spain.
Jackson was a better general than President, but we don't put generals on the currency.

Andrew Jackson was never impeached. You're probably confusing him with Andrew Johnson.

It doesn't look that bad to me. Maybe they finally decided to make a bill I can't copy on my own printer.

Re: the new American $20 bill
The note itself is alright, but that picture of Jackson just looks absurd.
P.S. It's nice to see that the US Government has finally realised that having all denominations of notes looking the same is stupid.
P.P.S. Pound notes > *

so do i. at the beginning there was a little too muzch colour for my taste, but you get used to it after a while. the same will happen with the 20$-bill in the us. as long as you can buy things with it, what does the design matter? the 500?-note still looks crap though, but 'fortunatly' i dont have to look at them that often.
they want to print 1 and 2 ?-note aswell now. i dont know what for, but italy and austria want them.

I don't think any store accepts the € 500 notes
And making 1 and 2 euro notes would be a bad idea. Down with Austria and Italy!

some do, i bought my notebook with them when i had large amounts of cash available
the 200?-note are ok, but the 100 are ugly again. that green just sucks. the atms gave out lots of them in the beginning, i guess my bank forgot about the fact that the numeric prices are lower now

after what i have heared they dont want coins with such a high value. the highest coin in italy was 500 lire which is something between 20-50 cent, im not sure. 5? is small enough, but if they want them, who cares?
