A byte walks into a bar
and the barman asks "what's wrong with you?"
"parity error", says the byte, with a sigh.
"aah" says the barman.
"I thought you looked a bit off."

Mushy you need to be shot in the face for this.
Possibly with a hammer.

Re: A byte walks into a bar
heh, funny.
oh btw while we're on the subject of bits & bytes as characters... I've been trying to find this out for ages but what is the name of that cartoon show involving bits & bytes represented as cartoon characters (some green, some purple and possibly other characters). I think one of them is evil and wants to take over the world or something, I saw it briefly on an internet tv stream but never found out the name.

Series 3 was where its all got a little bit adult , including one of the villains getting murdered in a truly non child friendly manner, didnt it?

Maybe they were pixels rather than bytes, but they were only very simple and crude 2d animations. The character looked almost literally like this

No, no, no my friend. That's not a bad joke. This is a bad joke. I hope you will be able to recognise the difference in future!

And as a friend I would like to tell you that your point wasnt humourous.
Next time try something like this;
'JonnyBGood's dad is so ugly that when he looked at his mums open vagina, he though he was looking in the mirror'
You see, calling your dad ugly and stupid in one fowl swoop - now thats funny.

Please don't address me like we're friends. Every time you do I throw up a bit in my mouth.

Re: A byte walks into a bar
A mother was sitting on the couch reading a book when one of her children walked up to her and said, "Mummy, why is my name Petal?"
The mother replied, "Because when you were born, a petal fell on your head."
The next baby walked up and asked, "Mummy why is my name Rose?" she replied,
"Because when you were born, a rose fell on your head."
The last baby walked up to her and said, "BLAS CLAFLAS YIFRASSAM TASSM POONNFFFIINRTY."
The mother replied, "Please be quiet, Fridge."
