TeamPies would like to say thanks for a great speed round.

TeamPies held top rank, both in total score and average score.
TeamPies help 6 of the top ten players, R6B help 3 and Gosu had one.

Thanks to Sad for doing most of the organisation pre round, he put alot of effort and money into this speed round and deserved his top 10 spot.

Thanks to all the BC's who kept attacks running throughout, you guys did a great job.

Some of the group became inactive through the round, but that didnt stop the rest from putting in the effort, and in the end it payed off.

It was a well deserved victory for TeamPies, we'll be back for future speed games, ready to pwn again

Nah, read my story in the other thread..
|R6B| Had 20 People... And I'm sure most times we where fighting triple the size we had... There where 200 People playing so we where 10% of the universe...

The nap with "Those" 40 planets was only for the last 2,5 hours... So we had a rest....

Before that.. We only agreed to focus on 'Gosu meets Tot" we where still hitting planets of Sad\Wipeout....

And you guys sided with sad\wipeout for a moment as well... |R6B| Never started teaming up with Big blocking people...

I just don't like that... But think this will be a discussion we would never agree on...

So why do i post

I know there are 2 threads already about speedgame but i want to start my own thank you thread.

[I don't see any good reason why this post can't be in the other TeamPies thread. -Leshy]

I would like to begin with saying how TeamPies or Militia Started.. TeamPied was name of a group of people maybe some of u are familiar with it contains Necro/shak/Klendau/MrPink and myself and a few others.. after the last private speed game ended we decided to make a bg for the random one together from my old gal as we played very well there.
We decided i to be the guy sorting the bg while Necro and MrPink help.
I recruited all trusted friends .. convinced people to play etc.. And we had our Dream BG The TeamPies.
Saturday came 99% of the bg online except a few which are Necro/Klendau who decided to go drinking and didnt make it to the game :P . Me and MrPink were the only 2 guys running the bg so we were a bit stressed, gosu and us decided we should work together to counter Thunder/Krush's co operation.
MrPink Had to go through the day because his pc had problems and wasnt seen till the next day altho thank you for him for making alot of successful attacks before he went.
After then i was the only HC and i was very stressed trying to play my planet , keep gosu with us, help bcs run attacks, Sort the internal affairs of the bg.
Wipeout Decided i need help and asked if i need a hand , i happily accepted him and made him hc, Since then Teampies went from better to best.
I then appointed Forest with us as HC to help out with me and wipeout.
I also appoitned dogbert HC so we are 4 now.
Me and Forest had a chan and wipy and dogbert had achan coz the old military way wasnt working
I had #teenz and Wipeout had #miltiia then we merged coz Wipeout's group did alot of work then alot of their big players gave up. so we merged used #Afterlife then i decided #Afterlife wasnt enuff in the war so i started #Arabia And we begun the last hours attacks from there. Wipeout went back to #militia and we took a few gals down in the last hours and kept everythin at bay.
Mid day Sunday Gosu planets landed on TeamPies planets supposedly by mistake, we passed that and i asked one of our members to land on them and i will say he was afk.
WE took back our roids from gosu still holding the nap.
Then Draki the gosu mil guy or whatever decided he doesnt like TheSeeker in my gal who was #1 player , Draki decided to through 60k hostiles at him, i warned draki if they land i drop gosu and their nap and i take theseeker's bg and kill them.
Draki didnt belive me and went on with 60k and failed then 100k and failed then 3rd wave he went through and dropped TheSeeker a few mil scores.
I Then declared war on gosu and gave their co ordinates to TheSeeker.
TheSeeker suggested working with his bg taking down gosu easier, I accepted and we took down alot of gosu specialy we took down Sjor ( then he farmed ) and we fleet catched meddy ( i didnt join on my love meddy as i promised him but couldnt stop it )
And We took down Draki 1:4:7 And his gal badly.
The last 2 hours Wipeout Told R&B if they wanted war we are ready but Thunder said lets finish like this with them holding the top planet spots and Teampies/miltiia holding the top gals/rest of top planets.

You guys had 4 HC.. I did most things on myself.. ofc everybody helped where needed.. But BC'ing 20 People every 10 minutes gives u headaches...

Thunder - wd on your victory but don't go being picky about it - i'd love to say that it aint the victory that counts, however unfortunatley the retarded community of planetarion seem to overlook this far to often, so sadly yes thats what it is all about for most... which brings me onto the next issue.

Sorry Sad for missing the weekend, but as Saturday drew on and the intial combat was taking place i found myself less and less interested in pa. A game that i've been (and i can't think of any other word to suit this best) "Addicted" too for so long finally looked grey in my eyes.

Then came all the bickering, the ego's and the acusations that have followed me for the past 2/3 rounds of PA - so why stay? Er... probably b/c it was nice reciving some attention, heh i think a lot of ppl here are here for just that reason, just don't want to injure their pride in doing so.

I look back and i've become what i hated, someone who's sole driving force was to win, but worst was the fact that i wasn't winning and to add salt in my wound i was being regarded as a cheater.

Every round was a new accusation "Killmark has bots!! XX:XX are cheaters and do not deserve to be #1". I'd say out of the 4 rounds that we were leading you "elites" (elite ? sorry i meant ppl without social lives and leave an inprint of their buttox on their chair, seeing as they spend so long in it) only 1 (round 7) had he used a bot to benifit us directly, so what about the other 3 rounds? Was it a case of us just not being caught? Perhaps although i'm conciously aware that even if he was running a bot - the other 24/14/9 players were not in those rounds and were just fking fine players.... but alas this was taken away from them and myself so our bitterness grew and grew until finally - r9 pops up...

So what do we do? OFC decide to get back together and OFC intend to win - then we find plans of mass farming regimes - ppl spending up to and in the region of £250 for farming galaxies, this perosnally shocked me. I never knew this level of cheating wsa going in PA... what shocked me more was what followed it, when the proposal to Farm (by Killmark) came to the rest of the gal, how willing most were to abide by it, even myself agreed.

Now prior to r9 i had always frowned upon farming hated those who did it, as i knew i they were ahead of me just b/c they could afford a few planets to leech... and then it came...

Round 9 - We had a farm gal - and farmed it for roughly 2 days... Then we were caught - it was simply down to careful footing that we were not deleted - although Spinner said that if he saw 1 fleet from our gal land on that Farm gal we'd get deleted - so alas we stopped farming, never the less i was on here lying through my back teeth, and why? Pride? But pride was meaningless in this game... or so i preached.

It all boils down to how vain and proud one becomes when in a posistion that enhances one's ego, and such a posistion is rather easy to obtain in Planetarion. I was sick of not getting my top spot and i was willing to do anything - even go against what i had always preached just to see my gal finnish #1.

And i'd say we had of deserved it had we not farmed that first day or two... but now i just look back in disgust at this game, at this community and at the way things are...

This is why ladies and gents this speedgame was my last ever venture in this realm and it ended very much the way my career in this game has been heading..... flat.

I hate what PA made turned me into..... but more to the point it did it to me and its done it to many others... this community is retarded and arrogant just its too proud to stand up and admit it.

Well shallow victories is all thats to be had from winning these games, there's no skill, no strategy just fk whoever it takes to get there and cheat at every turn you can.

Enjoy r9.5, r10 and however many more roudns pa goes on.

I won't be returning to this place and i shall not blabber on about who rocks and who i fluffle i've probably bored u enough.

The sad truth is, to even stand a chance at winning Planetarion you need to farm. Not something I my self am willing to do, but I must admit it is somewhat annoying to have all these 'l33t' players swanning about thinking they are excellant players when they have farmed, taken 'friendly' targets, been in the 'winning' alliance all round. I hate to shatter their ego's but that in my eyes does not make you 'l33t'.

The only round of Planetarion which I can say no one has farmed or cheated in would have to be the i15 speedgame, which because of that was a lot of fun

Also, I would like to clear a point, Yes R&B did win, but not alone They wouldnt have won if we wanted as Thunder knows.
Also We didnt have 40 members, we begun with 34 + alot dropped too early so we went on with about 25 players, then We begun recruiting a few players to cover enuff attacks.
We ended with 28 Players.

About farming am sure the 2 of the top3 form my gal didnt farm dont know about the 3rd, but am pretty sure Martin/Sjor and other big gosu players farmed the other gosu who gave up, Martin stopped when we warned him tho.

I had 19 people at start.... There where 21 Nicks added to our channel #TINQ

Yama <-- Who made the banner but didn't play
AcidRain <-- Who played an account together with Schneider (I didn't knew at start they would play this way)

I kicked Schneider and AcidRain later cause cheating in a speedround is even lower then cheating in normal planetarion.
Zany had to quit, cause someone died in his family <-- Nobody took over his account.
Newt had to leave early and said "shall I give my account to somebody else" I replied "No we don't cheat" so he didn't.

All other 17 players played there own account, IF they account shared they did it without my knowledge and without any support of our battlegroup, cause they where not in our channels.. So couldn't ask for defence or could attack with us...Also almost all people where active for almost the whole day in our channels. So it would suprise me if someone else played somebody's account.

Another thing to add. We did not have ANY farmplanets..... We did not farmed our own players for roids... NOT even those two planets who stopped playing with valid reasons.

we decided to cover only the top planets.
ur plan as we heard was to kill our smaller planets first what u planned to start with the attack on 4:2:9. As the attack was 7 ticks after the ticks started again i placed the roids on a safer place my planet
i got arround 200 roids and it wasnt farming only a last try to fight against teenwar 3

rest of my roids i got "legaly" and i had 33% more than any1 else in universe

But im happy that now u fight a bit who won the round. If u nap with 70 % of the active BG's than live with it to only get a peace of the cake

Nothing wrong with playing with some friends. But keep that group small...
I've played (PA clones) speedgames (and won) while playing with only 3 or 4 friends out of 200-300 players. By no means did this group come close to 20% of the player-base. 20% (40 out of stated 200 players) is just ridiculous!

i dont see any achievment in this ...

then we wouldnt need to play ... just analyse the gals and u normaly got the best gal by memberbase ..
maybe there are 2-3 gals that could be equal but normaly 1 gal has most of the best players ...

its the #1 planet that matters in a random round .. not the gal.

so the true best gal is not about skill but about activity as peons can be told what to do.

speedgame is playing with friends for me, and it's even more fun playing on a lan. what is so funny with player against player or even gal against gal? I could play every ordinary game then. it's about the fun or organising things together (erm, this round it was mainly just sitting next to Thunder) and win and loose together.

anyway, my point it, there is no setting of pa in which the true best player/gal definately is going to win. luck is most important. at least this is my experience
