Not sure if this is the right place. Why are PAteam planning to allow scans on closed planets? What possible use is this?

ac's dont get that they are closed when they are scanning galaxies, then you claim the target and hahahahahaha! youre fooled!

so people attakcing a closed planet can scan them, and we are also allowing defence on closed planets so they don't have to die due to being closed - sometimes planets are reopened and might want to still be alive.

someone being attacked, who got closed. before the attacker couldnt check for defence and was forced to recall or land blind.

just please make sure its very obvious from the scan that the planet is closed...

maybe something like PLANET IS CLOSED!!!!

Best way to do this would be to have it so that when you scan a closed planet, it doesn't take you straight to the scan, it takes you to an intermediate page that tells you in no uncertain terms that the planet is closed, and you have to click "OK, I know it is closed" to display the scan. This would be impossible to miss, which would be somewhat useful for scanners who are scanning a full gal.

Good idea, Bashar, I hope they do something like that. I guess this stuff should really be in Suggestions, but I put it here as it relates directly to the recent round 13 announcement.

its been coded so that on the scans themselves it has a message if the planet is closed

on topic though, nice idea. Closed planets are fun.

I have another idea for them: once a planet is marked properly as a closed planet (as in, tried, and found guilty of cheating etc) have a page somewhere "naming and shaming" them. Then leave the planet active for 72 hours before it goes completely.

always good fun, a bit of righteous bashing of cheaters.
