How about this?
We're all saying wouldn't PA be better with more planets
Why don't we offer a free credit to anyone who introduces a player to PA?
Us paying players could then introduce a player (friend) to try for nothing - then work with them to try and help them to understand the whole thing (IRC, alliances, tactics, rules etc)
what u think?

Re: How about this?
the problem with this is that existing players will abuse it to upgrade each other for free so that only half of the people need to pay.

A nice thought but as Kal said it would be abused.

Re: How about this?
potential abuse would probabaly be lower once there is a full passport system though - so this sort of thing should be revisited when that happens.

I thought we were clear that the passport will never ever happen.

I'm certainly not saying that. imo there's enough. More planets = alliance limits may have to rise, more xp whores, more inactives etc etc.
Why not have AI planets!? \o/ they won't quit after a week!

Re: How about this?
i like the AI idea - not sure how feasible it is though
but any idea that increases the ammount of planets should be looked at

Re: How about this?
ah, many thanks Smudge. I have nothing further to say on AI/bot planets... simple because it's all been said already

Re: How about this?
remember the random selection there used to be to apply for a free credit was around about r7 when we converted from free to paid, why not try that again?

Kinda like a lottery or something? A few planets get picked at random and upgrade maybe?
Here is another idea also. If those that have a few extra credits could donate them maybe PA/Jolt could match the number of donations to apply to free planets.
