Robbie Fowler
Robbie Fowler comes home, And yes that is good news when I was a kid he was the player whose name I had on my back (Mcmanaman was too many letters and cost too much) !

Re: Robbie Fowler
Fatty is far better than clogger morientes and cisse from what i've seen this season looks to blow tremendously hot and cold.
Liverpool needed a clinical finisher, they got one.
Fowler and Crouch though, surely a bit too pedestrian up front considering your obvious lack of width?

Re: Robbie Fowler
fowler wont need to run anywhere, he's got the best midfeild in the premiership feeding him the ball and crouch to knock balls down. If he stays fit then he's a cracking signing

Re: Robbie Fowler
Total waste of whatever they paid for him. Bound to be an unmitigated disaster.

Re: Robbie Fowler
Even if he is super sub I'll be happy as larry, it's nice to see a player of legenday status return like that

It's a loan. They didn't pay anything.
And considering Rafa Benitez is hardly the most sentimental chap in the world, there probably is some reasoning behind it.

And I thought it was a free transfer as it sounds he won't be going back to Man City at the end of the season.
EDIT: [football]

Re: Robbie Fowler
Sold him for 11 million, bought him back for free
Genuinely loves liverpool
Only contracted till end of season.
Anyone is better than cisse.
Scored against man utd, something a dominant pool couldnt do in 90 minutes.
It was a shock, but looks like good business to me

Re: Robbie Fowler
experienced striker going back to club he loves? hmmm... actually sounds ok to me, might even solve a problem for the reds if they are lucky and he stays fit
