throia, a small planet off of the calackrian peacefully span as it almost remained oblivbious to the pain that was inside. you see, the indigious life there was being used for another races (the spacin) evil doing. the indigious race (the renteren) were time and space shifters. they had the ability to shift time and space at their will and be anywhere and when they desired. unfortunately foir them, the spacin saw this and enslaved them. in the state of almost unconsiousness, they would do anyones bidding. the good news for their race was that there was a couple of rebelious peopler, heros for the race. this had not happened for them yet, so i'm telling you it has a happy ending.

One of these heroes was a man called slick. he was one of the guys being captured for extermination as he would not work for them.the reason that any of them worked for them at all was the fear of a sword that the leader had. spec was his name. the "split-second rapier" (could do with a better name, methinks) which had the abiulity to kill before the person realised, it did this through the slight time slowing ability it had, so it could litterally do it quicker then the persaon even noticed. Slick stood in front of the leader and he said in a rather husky voice "you have chosen to not do our bidding. do you know what the punishment is for this?" Slick stood up straight and said "i do, and i will not take it lying down, i will fight till the end!" Spec looked at this high spirited creature and laughed "no you wont take it lying down as you wont get a chance!" and with this before slick could realise he had been slashed in two. he saw his body lying on the ground as the entire world became a large grayness, and he saw just the odd burst of light, but apart from that, it was dark. then, he saw a whiteish blue light strart to come towards him, it got closer and closer, and he started to try and run away from it. as it caught up with him, a female voice started to talk to him. " do not be afraid my little friend, i am here to help. the light span around him, making him feel stronger and his entire started to lift up, in this levitated position, his arms and legs grew longer, and he grew wings. he felt this strange tingling sensation inside of him and he noticed he had strange powers. the female voice started up again and said "i wish to stop the race taking over this planet. i created you and i will not allow you to be destroyed.slick looked around for this strange woman but saw nothing, he did see the grayness dissapear and he was where he was killed and he saw spec laughing at his corpse, and other corpse that has died along with him.

His spirit entered his corpse and the corpse sprang back into life and he ran off with the others, stoppinjg for onemoment to gather his thoughts. In a split second, they ended up on the planet before any of this had happened, and he stopped to ask everyones name.

Yeha flag i think what slick meant is that the guy stabed the other guy with the rapier so many times in a line down the middle of his torso that he fell apart. but you would probly get teh same result from holding some kind of carbine to his chest.

/ooc/ ok, first things first, i need to know a couple of things about the technology for future reference/exploitation.
1. what kind of propulsion is being used? (basically is fuel being burnt, or is compressed/ fundamental paricle matter being forced out behind the ship)
2. for the fire control ability, does it include staring fires, or controlling what is already there?
3. is this before the slavery, just before first contact with spacin, or before they discover about the time shifting power?/ooc/

"Right, as far as I see it we have two options, we either stop the Spacin from getting control in the first place, or make sure that there are more of us to fight them than last time if we cant. For starters we need to make sure that they know we can fight back, it may be enough to deter them, or at least make them think twice. Do any of you have any ide what defences we had, sorry have, now? What can we get in the way of weapons, and for that matter, what do you have with you now?"

Dovai remembers the look his young wife gave him as she was cut down by the murderous Spacin when they had first taken control of his world. He thinks back to the bitter fighting during the take over, his people swipt aside by the fury of a swift invasion. He slowly shudders as vague memories of the endless work the survivors were forced to carrie out bubble to the surface.
He speaks slowly with a cold anger to his voice,
"I think our only chance is to drive off the Spacin before they land. We could gather more fighters and try to combat them once they make planet fall but imagine the destruction this would do to our beautiful world!"
Looking at the fear striken faces all around he whispers,
"I say we take a transport and attempt to board their ship as it comes into orbit, maybe we can damage their engines or disable the weapons systems and prevent this invasion."

/ooc/ slick, is your character just as an example or are you actually taking part? If you are doent that mean that Hawk needs to choose another element (air).

Ok, Update:

1)The spaceships are proppelled by a plasma generator, which uses thrust power, No fuel is burned, but a field is generated by the engine, pushing the ship forward.
2)Fire ability: The ability to control heat. Which includes starting fires. Also has the ability to create fire with no actual fuel.
3)Before Spacin Took over. The actual invasion is about to happen. You already know about Your time Shifting ability.
I will be joining into the story, but for the moment, i am your acting superior and so will be giving orders for now.

Advice: There are now 2 of each of you in this world. You have created a paradox in the space tine continum. You have 72 hours before time will attepmt to rearrange time about (You will no longer exist) So you have to either fix the problem in 72 hoiurs (Unlikely) Or, Kill Your double.

Right, Dm....

Flaag: You decide to find a transport To his ship before he can invade your world. You remember that there used to be a large transport depot before all of that took place.. You head toward it acting brave and over confident

Dovai: You decide to find some sort of missle launch pad, Hopefully in case that Flaag is unsuccessful, so you can destroy his engine and he will crash. You walk away and fear what will happen, as you are only a private, and so have not seen as much action as the rest of them.

Hawk: You appear out of nowhere as you saw where we went. You decide to go and see your family, as they were destroyed in the intial invasion. (O have no history from you ans so am acting on instinct)

History: Since Hawk was in base training at the age of 17, he had never gotten the chance to return to his house after the news reached him of his the deaths of his parents and to hear that his 7 year old brother was missing. His father had always been a great role model to him and was the reason that he first inlisted. Hawk drew close to suicide but found help from several friends at the academy. Now without those friends to help him, hawk sees nothing else to do but to go to the only place he ever fealt safe: home.
