Who will you support in Serie A this year?[football]
I know who I'll be cheering on.
I know we're always very cynical about footballers and the concept of "supporting your local team just because" get's a fair kicking on this forum, but for me Diego Della Valle and Angelo Di Livio have rekindled some of the real magic in football.

Di Livio deserves all the credit in the world for sticking with the club, i dont think any other player would have done in that situation .

i dont follow football at home that closely so watching foreign football just aint going to happen
saying that though, good luck to fiorentina, looks like they deserve it and i have to agree about di livio especially in this mercenary day and age

Re: Who will you support in Serie A this year?[football]
Roma/Parma/Atalanta.
Roma because I played about 6 seasons as them in Champ Man , grew quite attached to them
Parma because Arsenal beat them in the Cup Winners Cup final, they were a great team back then only italian club I knew at that age
Atalanta because of the gods that are Giampaolo Pazzini and Riccardo Montolivio

Juventus has always been my team since I started watching Italian football (which must have been back in 1994).

Re: Who will you support in Serie A this year?[football]
AC Milan because when I first started watching Football Italia on Channel 4 they were on for about 3 weeks running so they were the only team I really knew. Pretty much my only memory though is some bloke missing a penalty but hitting both posts and the the opposition missing a penalty later on.

(nyah.)
anyway, I was completely unaware of this whole situation, but being now appraised of it Di Livio would seem to deserve tons of praise and respect, so, you know, praise and respect to Di Livio.

Three months later a controversial ruling from the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) allowed Fiorentina to skip Serie C1 and move up to Serie B.
However, financial problems at Cosenza saw them subsequently expelled from Serie B with the FIGC controversially ruling Fiorentina should take the remaining place on "sporting merit".

IM sure its already been done. It had Robert Duvall screaming " THIS IS WHAUR SHOAT AT GLOARY LADS" and Ally McCoist trying to say as little as possible because he cant act.
