today I have been mostly listening to
Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Ray Charles and John Lee Hooker.
I'm a little stuck as to where to go now. I'm listening to Miles Davis, but it's not really what I'm looking for (especially as it has no lyrics).
I'm listening to what I consider to be the 'unadulterated' origins of modern pop music (i.e. those artists who influenced the Beatles, Bob Dylan etc) but I'm not too familiar with the pre-1960s music scene. Any ideas anyone?
