I think WP will win as theyre clearly on a safe lead atm. Maybe we need a block to take them down etc before they grow out of reach.

The question then is, why the 'new' name?

Trying to limit the impact of recent nasty events in PIA on their reputation here, or are they not playing in an 'official' capacity, thus a different name?

I'm not worried about the bot, but about the sudden changes in defence statuses. Observe. If there's a fleet that shouldn't be there, you've found a Dragon.

yeah - lets generalise an entire alliance and call them cheaters after the actions of a few in another game.

also - afaik not too many of them play.

When its arranged at HC level and some of the same HC play now, I think I have the right to be suspicious. And if you still follow your HC after massive bot abuse, well...

And I dont call every exilition member a cheater, I call those who cheated in pia cheaters, included some HC.

using facts isn't trolling, because those facts happen to be evidence - if members of an alliance/organisation have been caught cheating on an organised level in another game then it's in the interest of the game that the users know about it. Yes, for example MrJ is an easy target, but he's a valid one - it comes with the territory of having such persons on board in your alliance that are proven to be willing to cheat to this extent.

It's up to you to defend a position to say he's overgeneralising, i'm afraid.

imo that other game is quite crap and I dont really care if they cheated there. As long as they wont cheat in PA aswell that is ofc. Its not a nice thing to haunt ppl with (stupid) things they did elsewhere/another time, so Ill just welcome them to PA and hope they enjoy their stay.

To go back on topic, (1st impressions after 40 ticks \o/) this new LDK/Dragons allie seems capable of being a top alliance to me. Well atleast they are good at initiating roids

Cause a new name often stands for a new start, even if you have the core of a former alliance or played as a group in another game. I guess that's the main reason for a different name, to indicate a fresh start or a different approach.

WP is teh winner... they have walldo ffs.

as for the anti-dragon/ldk bolox.. frankly you cant blame a full alliance for a few peoples mistakes even if some of them were hc level.. theirs alot less people can get away with in pa code wise anyway.. so why worry about it ? if they wish to trust their fleets to suspect commanders that is their choice.

I for one think they will make a bloody good compotition and just the balance in the force this community has been crying out for. Less trolling and flamin and more time putting effort into your planets eh xmas:

Go over their memberslist and you will notice it is not just a few of them having been closed in other games. So quite frankly it is pretty obvious why people show this distrust in the legality of their playing style.

Only way for them to get rid of the reputation is to "survive" a round or two without closures and deletions within their ranks.

fighting them may be fun. but the goldfish, the family members long since dead combined with the bots may not be so pleasing to fight.

Dragons are doing what they do wery well. Stay off the spotlight and the public eye in an attempt to walk in the backdoor. They can do it as this game is not about winning anymore, its about making sure someone else dont win. We saw it last round and we definitely have seen it so far this round. Sad but true!

How about the more cynical view... Trusting people they know are willing to use decietful means to benefit their team and win. In the past those with a reputation for cheating often stick together in new rounds. Is it really because no one else trusts them, or because they know their peers have the same level of morals?

And perfectly on cue to support my point, here is someone who has been caught in organised cheating, has continued to play with dubious players in later rounds, and is now leaping to the defense of Dragons. Thanks wishie <3
