You're reading right. There will be a mini round, of 2 weeks, free, whereby new players will be encouraged to 'give it a go' and see if they like it. If they do they can pay for round 10.

Unless a significant portion of the R&C tree is removed, 2 weeks is no where near enough to get a 'feel' for the game.... you wont even have a significant ability to attack/defend etc... although this could be a good thing.

How many roids can u develop a farm to in 2 weeks?

and would the planets be closed/deleted after 2 weeks? or would they just become pyramid farm sources?

Most likely noone will bother to powerblock or cheat his way to the top just for a two week trial round so I guess it will be completly different to a normal round and hardly a test on how the game will hold up when a real round starts and the stakes are again higher.

Agree with Kileman.

2 weeks is just to short, if ticks are as normal and it the tech/con three takes as much time as normal.

anyways, I doubt one game of 2 weeks is enough to really attract the number of new players needed.

It's probably gonna be just like in the Beta. At least 1 block will play seriously and try to mess things up for the rest. It would be a perfect way to test your tricks around the new anti-powerblocking system.

i was under the impression it was a "2 week round" - dunno about anyone else ... but still the point about res/con stands .. maybe faster ticks .. mm dunno

as i understood it, its a 2 week TASTER of Round 10. Because Round 10 is so much different(?) to let people see what its like. Not a 'mini game' - thus as i see it, should be played at normal speed etc. Yes u won't get to see everything... but isn't that what DEMOS do normally... give u a sample of the game so u hopefully go out and buy it.
