I just want to state that some people are really pathetic, this is a game we are playing, a war game. And as such it is nothing but normal for one side to reside in the sunshine, while the other side(s) reside in a darker place...

Instead of complaining, draw your conclusions, see what went wrong, and learn from it. If your ally betrayed you, try to get vengeance, in this... or the next round. If certain alliances/players' acctions irritated you... go get their roids, if that proves impossible, make sure to make their life difficult in other aspects (illegal activities excluded) and get their roids in the next round.

VVOMM over-estimated their power, NAR was blind enough to trust WEET, and WEET is simply playing a smart game (for now...).

If the situation annoys you, take precautions for it not to happen again. Calling a new alliance 'Fury' all over again, will not change your misery. Bringing up ancient cheating will not either. Neither will verbal attacks on a cheating alliance ex-HC have much of an impact. Etc. etc. etc... If you think pa needs fresh players, print flyers and distribute them in your uni/workplace, saying it over and over again will not get people to play...

For me, Planetarion round 9 is the round of the whiners and babies. And some spineless people around here make me sick.


Propaganda is a valid instrument of warfare, it is welcomed, it makes AD fun... But jesus, some people around here are simply either extremely young, or just plain dumb. God I hope some of you guys put your money where your mouth is and quit pa, I already paid for round 10 you know

I have been here for quite some time now, a little under 9 rounds to be exact, but dullness never reached a level near the current one around here.

What pisses me off in r9 is that I chose a ruler/planetname that I cannot pronounce properly Ok - that's not any powerblocks fault directly but I blame one of them. Not enough that Wipeys big worn-out boots smell better than my new-washed socks quite shocked me this round.

Aww... yeah... whining became popular. And for whatever reason a lot of ppl fell for it as I experienced now a bit too often. Maybe they use AD no more as a place for discussion or "PR"-issues but more to spit out all the bitterness they accumulated in the last rounds and hence feel emotionally reliefed? Was just a guess...

The smaller universe just puts a larger responsabillity on alliances to keep balance in universe. They failed in r9 for sure.

ummm on a lighter note. Vom never EVER underestimated their power, VOM was well prepared and organized before the round. HOWEVER when ticks started 2 particular alliances had some BIG no no's.


#1: sub battle groups -- this is what pisses me off the most. These genius groups thought it would be better to go the BG route and basically Ignore cluster/parallel and it took 3 days after ticks started to get half their freaking coords.

#2: not joining P and C allied channels they basically refused even.

#3: Exchange of friendly coords. I said in all the meetings "i dont wanna spend all round saying I told you so" well I did instead of listening to the plan it took WAYYY to long to get an idea of who is your buddy and who is mr evil.

So the deathblow went like this.

#1: Lack of friendly coord exchange

#2: refusal of P and C allies to establish alliances for defence etc purposes

#3: Having BG's formed and expecting targets when they FORGOT THE FKN TRAVEL TIME IN P AND C <says I told you so again> man that fires me up heh BG's where 5 galaxies share 0 travel time expect to share defence when attacked in P and C GENIUS!

#4: Incoming from 2 blocks and due to lack of P and C cooperation defence inside is bare to none and incoming started before allied coords were completed in arbiter.

#5: time time time.. the incoming from nar/weet took its toll on those peeps and it led to now.

So definatly not no underestimation was made at all it was the BG's and refusal for peeps to work together which turned vom into a big "roid candy store" for the other 2 groups. Who granted were ALSO not well organized but better than vom took its toll.

"i told you so" if I forgot that.

I am pleased that eclipse publically states it will not put up with peeps like necro etc doing their version of a PA grocery store. Also when I PM eclipse peeps and show them some fence sitters and wankers who are 6.8 mil attacking with 3 fleets all incoming to planets with less than 112 roids they do seem to get pissed and say theyll do something about it. It is way different than the other alliances whom simply shrug their shoulders when I tell them and show them. Although Nar has kicked peeps also. But I didnt want anyone thinking their skill overcame vom cause it was vom who destroyed themselves first weet/nar were simply vultures chewing the carcass.

VOM as we were first called, did nothing of overestimating our powers. We wanted to create a "group" of alliances, which still made it possible for several other groups to be created as well of equal strength.

We even were so "foolhardy and Naive" that we decided to create clean gals to prevent fencesitting.

The only ones overestimating our power has got to be Weet and Nar, who was so afraid, that they had to create the biggest block, i have seen so far.

You must have had about 40% of the universe under control, due to your "lenient" gal policies.

I am not as such, going into your arguments, but that comment, really was wrong.

Vom choose to set up a combination of alliances that was seen as the biggets threat. Allso adding Virus to the mix didnt help. Sadly the universe in total was to small. Think about it. The tactics applied in this 'war' was the same as anny previous one. 2 parties ( seens as weaker) cooerated to rid themselves of what they saw as their mutual biggest threat.

What you dont understand is that you had a choice of 3 blocks with 2 of those at war. The only thing that made our choices naive, was your NAP with NAhR.

This unbalanced universe was brought on by your choices, not ours.

And for the record, we regarded WEET atleast equal too us. Only you regarded VOM so strong, as your blocking policy showed.

I might have been a tad lazy but I somehow managed to miss the reports about it maybe being something a tad more and the announcements of it so being, for me it just went from rumors of common objectives to full out NAP
