Taking one last look around his own inadiuite room a perfect outwards appernce of his dark solitary nature, mixed wiuth the odd historical items, his intrest in history ever present in his life. Letting slepe take voer his body closing his eyes to the beckoning dark void of his dreams and nigtmares.

Space, on the other side of the line can be seen other coloured blips but they are far fewer than the red ones

GA - then there is no doubt about it, the DEVORAN are preparing for a major assault

On baord the Large Throne Room full of mist and funkeh darkly evul type flashing lights the Dark Emperor looks at the large 3d Holo Map of the slowly shrinking "Pink Skins" space

Shogun No Dachi - Well SO have we found them

SO - looks at the scanners as the SHIKAKU moves slowly thru space - Yes my lord the ULP have not left any reaserch vessels in their vicinity

Outside

the large Kattanna Class Dreadnaught moves cloesly to the large 800km diameter perfectly formed Sphere that hangs in space and dwarfs the vessel.

SO - there is no way in but it does harness vast amount of energy that I beleive we can tap into, also this will give us a defence grid that will protect the designated palnetary systems and there should be no way the Devoran can get thru

SND - so how will this work

SO - We have discoverd 72 of these spheres located thru the HARKUN sector and it seems they have been designed by a far superior race, that either has died out or has come from then future to somehow aid or destroy us, but whatever they did not complete their plan. We can modify them so that they will create a vast Barrier that will disrupt the DEVORAN but we do not know how

SND - then how can you gaurnatee it will work

SO - My Lord please look here

the SO shows the Shogun a Holo tape of a Devoran being subjected to an expriment in a shuttle that approaches the Sphere some days ago, the Devoran looks in great pain and then dies

Part 4

The mighty world ships and their escorts finaly make their jump from ANKAA, leaving behind the last vestiges of the Human/Alien Empires. The Ships are slow in FTL space but each of the escort vessels manages to keep pace with the huge vessles.

As things go, one by one the badly damaged vessels are repaired by the huge World Ships.

SO - we are picking up 2 planetary systems withn 5 light years

Comms - Signal from World Ships there engines need repearing looks like the blind jump has damaged them

this mission is split into 3 parts - yup you get to choose which one you want to take part in

this is all considered to be done on the Flagship Conference Room


Mission 2a - World Ship Repair

DM Time to Mission Completion 10 turns

Mission - the World ships need gaurding as they repair engines and repair other damage - they may need protecting from encroaching Devoran ships or other enemies. Once repaired they will then move onward towards one of the two star systems to effect full repairs and overhauls


Mission 2b - Scout Star System 1

you will have used 80% of your fuel

DM time to mission completion 6 turns

Location 4.5 light years away

Star System with 10 planets and 2 suns

Mission to scout the star system for possible hostiles or signs of life and also of raw materials and refueling (ie GAS GIANTS)


Mission 2c - Scout Star System 1

you will have used 90% of your fuel

DM time to mission completion 6 turns

The intercoms beep annoyly waking John from the darkness of sleep, letting out a disgrntled and drawn out sigh slaming his fist into the intercoms button sitauted on his small stand next to the matress.
"Let me guess somthing happened?"
His intution kicking in as always always causing an anoyance.
"Correct, it appeared as the fools who where piloting the wrold ships jumped without veriyfing their cordinates. As a result our fuel stocks have plumeted, at a guess I would say we wated about seventy to seventy five. the engineer is still busy overseeing the repair crews to get an accurate figure, On a side note you have been asked to grace your presence at a mission breifing cant say that soudns like it going to go well for us."
The first officer voice strained as the refit of the new hull takes place mid flight not making it any easier to install and fit.
"It never is, okay get us docking permission and Ill be there in a few minutes. Ending the commucntion abruplty dragging himself out of the matress clambering over to the small wardrobe at far corner of the room, pening it gingerly to reveal moslty casual dress wear, his old uniform discarded in the messy pile at the bottom.

Looking himself over quickly in the wardrobes door mirror, wearing plain rough heavy duty trosuers mixed with cotton shirt wth leather shoudler pads sown into it. Reaching the a belt with a sword and pistol holstered in its various slots, looking old but mostly unworn expect for when ventruing outside the ship.
"Can never be to carfull these days, all sorts of theifs and pirates out there. I should know its my chosen lifestyle"
Muttering idle to himself before slaming the door shut and marching with pace out of the room.

Uliya: It would be unwise to let them know about an imediate threat, otherwise we may be given the order to turn around and leave, or laughed at. Remember the C'raask are not widly known by anyone other than the Shraan Remnant.
Cid: That is why we wont tell them what lurks around here... but we shall take that Kylithium and, since we're in a legendary area, we may as well start building a society here. And, since we are in C'raask territory, there's enough ships and captains here to help us fight those bio-mechanic insects... I remember being happy at the news, see, because while all my ships have good anti fighter defenses inbuilt, you guys tend to slack off and buy big shooty guns instead, so in my version of future events you all get annihalated by swarms of fighters while my ships withstand the tide and destroy the enemy \o/
