The Genius of the Shuffle
The shuffle surely didn't go as the creators intended? Didn't they test this???
It looks like there are empty/semi-empty gals around. I thought shuffle was supposed to get rid of this ??
Private full gals should not have had politics and Commanders message wiped - there was important info on there for our gal, but ah well.
All the crap gals seem to be in the same area.
Surprised? YES!! this isn't how it happened in the beta, WTF is going on?!?!

apparently it had teething problems
it took longer than "expected" which meant that it had hiccups, what you see is those hiccups

indeed....
My galaxy before the reshuffle had 7 planets. Afterwards it had........... 7 planets. We were all hoping for some new people but alas no. My day was ruined.

I've seen three empty gals and more with only 1-9 players. I thought all gals were gonna have 10 planets.

it was my impression that u needed to 'open' the gal, in order to get new planets.

The galaxies with 1-9 people are most likly private galaxies who didnt open up their spaces.
I have no idea why theres empty galaxie sthough

if you have 7 planets in your gal, you will only get more people if there is a gal with ONLY 3 planets.

They stuck my galaxy of 3 into a private galaxy of 7 Spanish Speaking PA players who regarded us as farms and then went on to ignore any posts in English.

Well, seeing as they can't attack within the galaxy you don't have to worry about them farming you, which means u can send Pods along with their attacks and leech without needing to worry

No by going Random I assumed that I would be with a random set of people, not with a stacked set of friends. Thus giving me an equal chance of having a say in the galaxy.

Doesn't really bother me, so some clusters and parallels are slightly smaller than others, who cares? Are all galaxies in the universe the same size? (Real one for u nerds who can't get your head out of PA).
It also means that people who contine to signup won't all get stuffed at the end and will hopefully have more of a chance by being mixed with stronger people who can protect them (unlike last round....C59 anyone?)
