ooc- *twitch* *growl* AUGH! i thought i did this all ready -ooc

kraagesh watches as the fleet lines up and begins to make the jump, his view is cut off abruptly as his own ship enters the portal first if only for the sake of overawing and scaring the enemy with the appearance of a very large ship, the mekkora moves away from the node after it comes back to normal space to let the other ships through the node and shortly initiates the second jump, this time to the outskirts of the area where the engagement was actually occuring. kraagesh looks out as the immense portal opens up in front of the ship and sent it through an instant of bright light before normal space opened up again, the effect, even from a distance would be somewhat awe inspiring as the huge vessel pierced a huge oval of wavering light, to be followed quickly by several smaller copies of the same event, kraagesh looked over the sensor readings and begins spewing orders, which ships should take what targets and such. he orders the comm officer to get all fighters and small craft away from the enemy flagship, in the same sentance he also has most of the longer range weaponry of the ship fire on the heavy cruiser before giving the all encompasing order with a small smile on his face.

remove them.

after giving said order kraagesh takes the comm and delivers the following message to the part of the allied fleet that had not just arrived

this is admiral kraagesh, of the 62nd task force, i am hearby taking command of all elements of this fleet. you will back down and bombard tagets of your choise at long range.

kraagesh leaves the comm, and grasps a nearby chair to steady himself as the entire ship shudders as the missile batteries open fire, he walks back to his usual position on the bridge and watches the other ships in the 62nd follow the mekkora's example and open fire

After watching the sudden apperance of the 62nd fleet, and the hering the comms transmission Anthonys fur stood on end.

"Helmsman get us out of here," he yelled across the bridge, and then into the internal comms "All hands this is the captain, lockdown stations and prepare for evasive manuvers" he took his hand off the transmit button and then went to his TO's station, and looked at the massive amount f fire power headed in their direction...

"Awww cr**" he muttered

ooc- um, i guess i didnt properly describe the location of arrival, the 62nd is well above the other group of ships, so the missles are coming "down" towards the plane of the other ships -ooc

FlapJack: As you return to your carrier the human technians set to working on reloading it as fast as they can. 12 seconds later you are roaring out of the hnager. That was a short reload for humans but would have been know were near short for felinids. As you adjust to being in space again all your flight leaders check in let you know they are ready for a second strike.

AcidK: Your battle cruiser targets one of the remaing cruisers. Your missle batteries pound it into oblivion. The enemy is totally unprepared for your arrival. Within a short periodmost ships are destroyed and those that aren't are crripeled with no weapons and little or no engines.

Fluffie: Your carrier jumped in and within a few seconds your fighters were clear of the carriers and were streaking twoards three seperate cruisers. When they struck not a single one of the cruisers survived. As your squadrons were retering to there carriers it became k now throuhg preliminary reports only two of the 150 were lost.

MadCat: The lone cruiser engaging the enemy fell back hurridley prusied by a few destroyers. Your task force hwoever contued its withering salvo on the main enemy group with in a few minutes of missle fire the enmy was destroyed or crippeled.

ASME: Your cruiser doged the friendly fire only suffering a minor shaking. However as you cleared the kill zone three destroyers were following fast behind. It apperaed as if the three destroyers would overwhelm your ship before it was noticed. Luckily the flanking force depleyed by the 14th was on there toes and able to repond and the destroyers closed on you eight freshy destroyers open up on the three totally obliterating them.

Enemy focres two heavliy damged destroyers(unsalvageable and leaking amount of radiation deadly to even grond!)

Comadore Hatch watched as the sudden apperance of the 62nd strike force erdicated most of the enemy fleet. He had heard the comunique from Admiral Kraggesh only a short time ago. Now he was ready to respond.
"open a channel with The 62nd's flag ship i want the admiral."

"Looks like we won't be doing any more combat this time, switch to patrol mode untill the carrier orders us back in, there might be some idiots left."

*Flapjack then switched back to the flight command channel and hailed their carrier*

"Squadron 1 leader calling escort carrier Saratoga, requesting mission update."

kraagesh wait for a second or two before taking the comm that one of the officers had just brought. he takes one more quick look at the sensor readouts, smiles and turns his attention back to the comm, when he speaks he does so with the quiet cold and somehow friendly voice that tended to catch most people completely off-guard and left them unsure of what to say

Now every one of the captians is meeting on the Mekkora, madcats battleship,

Kraggesh stood infront of the collection of commanders. There was still some chatting going on but that was about to change.
"Gentelmen," Kraggesh said bringing the meeting to order, " Commadore Hatch, Our local intel officer, has prepared a breifing from what he observed in the skirmish with enemy. I'd now like to turn the time over to him."
Commadore Hatch stood up and came to the front of the room.
"Genterlmen," he said bring the foucus of attention to himself, "Youe were all there so i wont go over the enemies fleet compoistion. Instead we'll look at what what we learned about there ships."

"First off many of you know about there lack of point defence corrdination. From this we gained a edge in accuracy. It is my assuption that the enemy dose not have Date link Technolongy. Also our forces were rarley fired at. We have the edge in range, our range is aabout doubleof there with the capital missles. Finally thier ships were moving slower then ours." Alexander pulles up staticts from the enmey drive, Standard Military drive, and Commercial Drive. " As you can see the energy out put our scanners picked up clearly dose not conform with military drives, it is to under powered. However they seem to be running commercial drives. This is an advantge to combat, Now we know we can stay out of there range while still being able ot fire at them."
Alexander paused here. "However this is also a curse. The military drive can burnout much easier over the course of along fleet movment. However the commercial drive can run almost constanly. They will be able to reinforce faster then we will be. From here on in I would hazard the guess we will be greatly outnumbered. I hope this answers some questions. Any thing I didn't bring up, or anything that needs greater clarification."

*Flapjack had sat in the back of the meeting room, he was the highest ranking fighter pilot in both groups (if Fluffie doesn't mind me outranking his pilots :P) and as such was required to attend this meeting, after all, he was the only high-ranking officer to get within close range of the enemy ships*

"Sir, may I also add that their large capital class ships, like the battlecruiser me and my pilots destroyed, where heavily armed with short range energy weapons, which where almost exclusively anti-capital weapons. In addition this quite sizeable force had no fighters, which leads me to believe that they may be lacking carriers altogether. This combined I believe it would be highly recommendable to proceed every attack with a fighter strike, since fighters will be able to go in, deal damage and come back out with minimal losses."

" Yes that is a very good observation. However i think it could be possible for them to use Large fleet carriers, instead of light escort carriers, But In my opinion we probably should use fighter strikes. We should keep a reserve squadron just in case they do have fleet carriers."

The feline figure of Anthony was standing by the edge of the room that they had all be called to. He was trying to stay somewhat unnoticed, and thankfully succeding so far. He had listened to the Commadore's speach and the few comments and questions raised afterwards. He began to make his way out of the conference hall as many of the other commanders did the same, still trying to keep to the shadows...

Occ/ kicks madcat in the chest for lack of movement, next time it be your juevos/occ

Kraagesh nodded at the human telling him he was ready to listen to what he said.

" Well, sir it is my hunch that the enemy will have enough ships the nextime to overwhelm us. We should probably start an evacutaion of the colony, we probably won't get everyone but we could get some people out." Alexander layed out his plan for the evacutaion.

"That works," Kraagesh responded,"How fast do you think you could get started."

"Well I think two days and it should be well underway." Alexander guessed. " Also Sir, in order to increase our fightring abliltiy i think we should probably request some RMP's from the Remus fleet base."

"Good idea i'll have the fleet train bring us some.

New Toy- Remot Missile Platform/ RMP(because we all love accronyms)
The RMP was desinged to carry a heavy missle load. The RMP is about half the sive of a destroyer but carries the load of a crusier. It was oridginaly designed to spear head attacks on enemy defence station, but could be used in other roles. It runs by connecting to the computer core of the parent ship giving the parent ship complete control.

36 Hours Later

Less then two days after the first battle of Jaglar the warrinig sirens went off all over the fleet. The enemy was at it again much earlier then expected. however the fleet was allready in postion, that was there first instinct deploy for the next encounter. The battle line had The battle ship both battle cruisers and all but two of the cruiser(everyone but carriers here). The carriers were deployed behind them with Hannibal and Lee as escorts. the Destroyer were deployed in two group one with 10 to the right of the battle line ready to get behind an enemy were there were less weapons. The second group had nine and was located below the battle line ready to hit there as well.

Madcat- two RMP's attached to you
AcidK- one RMP here
Asme- One RMP here as well.
the rest including me don't have em, we needed 12 more hours.

Enemy Fleet Strenght 10 battleships
24 battle cruisers
they are currently at just short of there missle range puting them well in ours.

Occ/ Don't cry just rember you have greater range, speed and point defence/Occ

*Flapjack was enjoying some well earned rest when the sirens started blaring, spurring him to action and going from off-time gear to flight gear in record time. Within 3 minutes he was at his fighter, quickly giving it a check-over as the other members of his squadron began to pour in. A little after he was in his fighter and the flight crew was loading his nukes*
