Was Drizzt also in Icewind Dale?

I knew he was in Baldurs Gate, and he rocked.

2 x scimitar + 5 of speed, and he asked for help in killing Gnolls, for some reason.

I haven't read a book in ages, maybe I'll read Icewind Dale and then play the game.

The problem is that Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman are completely **** authors. Together, it's like a backed-up toilet in a book.

I liked them when I was 13-16, but I read the War of Souls trilogy just recently, and was tempted to write them demanding that part of my life back.

oh and Tas wasn't so bad either.
