MSN - screwed?
I can sign in but everyone I try and talk to I just get "The message could not be delivered".
So I feel forced to ask:
What the hell
is
going
on?

Re: MSN - screwed?
I just sent a test message to my other account (I have two MSN accounts which I stay logged into all the time) and it's not yet arrived (2-3 minutes later). A message to my housemate arrived about two minutes after sending.

I hardly use msn messenger anymore, exactly for that reason. It's shit. I could have more interesting conversations with Amazon packaging than I could with some of my contacts.

You can hardly blame MSN for the quality of the contacts you've added to their messenger service

I have no issues with MSN... the amount of downtime is fairly reasonable (ignoring these last 3/4 days)
Still hoping/assuming google will come out with a messenger though... because it's bound to own the shit out of MSN

Opera stamps on donkey balls pretending one is Internet Explorer and the other is Firefox. Just for fun.

"Pretending" being the key word there, deriving it the only pleasure it gets before Firefox turns it to ash.

Yes. Yes I can. It churns out people who do “ASL (?)” “HI YOU THERE???????????????????” – Lets not forget the ones who believe they are Gods gift to the internet. *sighs*
It would not be so pointless if I had people I cared about on my contacts. Hell! Who needs fancy emotions when you can have the good old-fashioned colon, dash, close bracket.

Umm, so aren't you contradicting yourself there? You somehow blame MSN for having crap people on your list and then say it wouldn't be so bad if you had people you cared about on there - so what about the rest of us that do?
I have 47 people on mine, all of who are either friends from where I grew up, friends from uni, or relatives with the exception of 6 people.
Of those 6 exceptions, 3 are people who are or were moderators on this forum - they're there so I don't have to go on the #mods channel on IRC if there's a problem which my mod access doesn't allow me to sort, and also just as people I work with.
Of the remaining 3, only one remotely fits the description you've given, and she's a strange canadian so can be forgiven (no Aryn its not you, you're in the mods group ).
1 in 47 isn't a ratio that really backs up your stereotype.
In other words, get better friends

I have about 30 People (after my mass delete) I looked at the fews and thought, I see them everyday at college. The rest are people I don’t know or don’t want to know. Although I freed up some system resources.
