Political Parties
What is the daftest names for a political party you've heard?
My VOTE (and it's the only one i've made this week) goes to:
"OPERATION CHRISTIAN VOTE PROCLAIMING GODS LOVE AND CHRISTS LORDSHIP"
That was up in Banff & Buchan.
Anyways ...

Re: Political Parties
In Cardiff North (held by Labour), Catherine Taylor-Dawson of Vote for Yourself Rainbow Dream Ticket wins just one vote - although she also stood in the three other Cardiff seats where she had more success (37 in Central, 79 in South, and 167 in West).
Wow, she was popular...

I could have voted for her! (but didn't)
Just imagine how cool that would be, to be a candidate's one vote

Re: Political Parties
You'd think that if people wanted to throw £500 away, they'd at least want to get some enjoyment out of it.

Re: Political Parties
to me, the fact that someone called Berony Abraham, whos manifesto includes such gems as What colour to paint our kitchens? got more votes than the MRLP candidate (boney maroney) for sedgefield comes across as ever so strange
EDIT: actually, after looking at her website a bit more, more specifically the vote card bit, i would probably have voted for her, as she proposes shipping all the elderley off to jersey out of our way

Re: Political Parties
The Queen has a birthday for when she was born, as well as an 'Official birthday'.

Re: Political Parties
The Queen gets two birthdays. One when she was born, and another in a more sunny time of the year so we don't get wet when we rush to London to see her ride past in a chariot OF PURE GOLD.
