the words 'lucky' and 'escape' come to mind.

Very few players are worth £20M+ nowadays. Ronaldinho isn't one of them. Rivaldo on a free is a way better deal for the moment. I'd spend the rest on some proper young talent.

Couldnt agree more (except for Rivaldo, who can get right to **** and stay there)

Only problem is, id make them odds on favourites to get Duff now, who is a genuinly immense player (far better than Ronaldinho any day of the week)

Yep, they can get duff cheaper than ronaldinho and duff>ronaldinho.


They cud even have bought trevor sinclair for fking 2,7mill pound :|

Yes, but Sinclair is **** you see.

Either Fergie will go for Duff, some random South American.

Only other two guys I can think of he might go for are Joe Cole (who wouldn't cost more than £10M I bet) and Van Der Vaart.

He'll get someone. He is the manager of Manchester United and has money.
