Bad Boys II
While you UK and european moviegoers (aka suckers)
will have to wait till mid october to see this shining example of pure action comedy i am hopefully going to go see it again tomorrow.
For those in the states. Have any of you bought the soundtrack CD? I got it y/day and theres maybe 2 songs i like on it.
I really had no idea it was THAT cool to keep saying the N word over and over again..
"I LOOOOOOOOOVE N*******. COS N******* ARE ME" etc etc...
WTF is this all about? Its like having a word that only black people can use but if a white guy says it he is 'teh dead'.
Im fairly sure if Martin Luther King heard rapping that included the N word every other line hed roll over in his grave.
So the crux of the discussion which will hopefully not lead you all to begin racist remarks....
Why is it acceptable for a group to use a certain word but when another group uses it its considered Racist/ Wrong / Immoral.
I guess this could also be equated with other groups and other 'bad words' such as gays etc etc....

Nope dont think i will have to wait have it downloaded already on pc just needs to be burned and will be watched tomorrow night.

On a side note am just started to watch tomb raider 2 will comment on it after its over.

Oh and you used 'nice' and 'hot' in the same sentance, which means you've lost touch with the rest of the world.
It's acceptable because for hundreds of years we oppressed the black man and called them a negro. Which over time translated to ******.
Thw word they use now is not '******', it's nigga. There is a difference. Perhaps your accent doesn't allow you to hear it, but it's there. Besides, the two words mean completely different things. ****** is a word used to describe oppressed blacks, whereas nigga is a word to describe Hispanics, Blacks, and pretty much any group that isn't white. It is not racism.

The ferrari driving sequences was one of the best car chase scenes ever.
infact this is currently my 'best film in the past year' that ive seen.
Its not clever or intellectual but its both funny and full of **** that is usually screwed up due to budget or crap acting.
I really really want to see it again.

Who said it was? You really should stop listening to stupid people.
Individuals have different tolerance levels of being called different things, obviously. My wife can call me "love" but I wouldn't like that from anyone else (unless they were a hot chick ofc). Does this make me a hypocrite?
At a recent lecture, Noam Chomsky used the word *igger at least 10 times in the space of about 5 minutes. No-one batted an eyelid - not even the numerous black/non-white people in the audience. I think perhaps "it's how you use it" and the implicit msg you give off by calling people certain things, from "love" to "******" or someones nickname, etc.
