has anyone downloaded new boot screen from here...or anywhere else for that matter? Some of them look pretty cool...but I'm just wondering if there's any problems associated with these new boot screens and what not.

any help would be great, thanks

I did customise my desktop for a while, I got fed up in the end with it slowing down my computer, and some things weren't working properly when it was running.

AFAIK though, it just changes the graphics being used or something. I dont think itll bugger up your pc.

yes it works fine and no probs
(with XP pro)

download a 'trial' copy of bootxp and a few boot screens and see which one you like

i had a minor problem with the original bootxp.

i upgraded to SP1 and it then put my pc into a reboot cycle which i couldnt break out of. i had to find a boot disk (:eek and remove a file in DOS.
however


the new one seems to work fine.
look at www.deskmod.com for more bootscreens and 'windows mods'
