I was in London today, and on the bridge by the London Eye, low and behold there was a a little Chinese man who bends wire to spell out your name.
Ive seen these wire benders in quite a few cities now.
I sure there is some goverment conspiracy behind it!!

They have "them" (it could be the same guy tho, they all look alike, etc) in Croydon, Sutton and Bromley. But strangely not Chinatown in Central London...hmmm...

They are actually everywhere, but not always Chinese. I have seen at least one artisan of this type at craft fairs and bazaars in the UK, Germany, France, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Turkey and the US.
It is not a "Chinese" craft,...many do iy.

I thought they were Japanese, hence the term "Japanese Name Stick Man". We have them in Darlington as well, sometimes as many as two. One lives in Buskers Ally, and one lives outside Woolworths.
