If we take out the odd character, we have an F since that is a capital. Fortunately, there are not many capitals with an F, namely three. The rest of the word, "ixed" leaves us with a clue, though, as the i is the Roman numeral for one, whereas the rest of the word is "xed" or "x-ed", meaning marked or crossed. So we are looking for specifically the first capital with an F, which is Fagatogo of American Samoa.
Now, a togo, or a toko, is Japanese for a house, or a communal place. What sniborp is trying to say, is that GD is a specifically marked fag-a-togo (or fag-a-toko), or a place full of fags. I suggest we keep an eye on his future posts to determine exactly what it is GD has been marked for.

Oh no, I saw every episode, and - almost inexplicably! - I enjoyed them.
To be honest, im not particularly picky with the quality of television I watch, it's certainly not my favourite medium anyway, and normally a background to other stuff. I believe the reason I enjoyed buffy anyway was the emotional attachment built up previously which I already mentioned.

Or is it some higher level commentary about people on the internet apparantly missing the point of what Dante says?

Then he wouldn't have used the word "potential", would he, which is what Dante was semi-ironically complaining about.

My point, so frequently missed by yourself, is that on the internet, people make wildly sweeping statements with nothing to back them up, and people take offence at them.
Thats it. No hidden meanings, no subtle swipes at named individuals, just a simple, easily misconstrued jibe at fans of crap TV series.

People do this everywhere, not just the internet. In fact I'd say it's much less prevalent in some areas of the internet due to the fact everything is always actually "written down" (if you don't write it down it didn't happen!) and as such can be used as reference material and "shifting the goalposts" arguments are much less likely to succeed.

Except Dante was taking offense at you only calling him a potential paedophile, rather than an actual one, so who knows
Anyway, what's wrong with it, aside from the fact that most of it's shit?

I think Dante's evil in this regard still exists in potential. Rankin, however, is an "active predator", as I believe Crimewatch would describe him.
But yeah, GD is basically a glorified paedophile ring. I don't see what all the fuss is about.
