Mr Bush in Scottish calamity
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4658327.stm
Quote:
Mr Bush, celebrating his 59th birthday, was said to be going at a "pretty good speed" when he fell from his bike.
|
Ah, we've all been there, thrilled with our new bike, going hell-for-leather down a road, and then we crash and burn at the bottom. A sadly familiar tale.
"If the President had remembered to pack his stabalisers, this tragedy could have been avoided.", the Police later said in a statement.

I have trouble respecting someone whose IQ and motor skills* are that far inferior to my own.
* I suppose everyone falls off his or her bike at some point, but how many of you have choked and fainted while enjoying a pretzel?

Re: Mr Bush in Scottish calamity
1. I suppose none of you have ever gotten to the point where you were falling from things on your birthday?
2. If Radical Edwards mom had hurried things along a bit, he would have shared a birthday with GWB.

The whole bombing thing was a Republican conspiracy to distract from GW's little mishap.
The best defense is a good offense!

Re: Mr Bush in Scottish calamity
Yesterday, whilst driving along a country lane with Alison and her brother, we watched a small boy fall from his rollerblades.
I slowed down, toying with the idea of alighting from my vehicle and assisting the injured child.
I chose to lower my window, point and laugh whilst driving past instead.
He didn't look like Mr Bush, but mentally he was around the same age.

The bit I liked most about him fainting while chocking on a pretzel is that no one realised anything had happened until the guard dogs outside the door started barking and trying to get in. If they hadn't had any dogs around, everyone would have thought he was reading a particularly long document (with dictionary) and so was being really quiet for a while. If it weren't for the dogs maybe someone who could give more coherent announcements would be in power.
