PPS : Its difficult to get a hold of this film now as its one of the ones outlawed after 9/11 in the US i think. Something to do with Naziism , running over pedestrians , etc etc.

The more i watch this, the more i just cant stop laughing.

Lining up 20 Pensioners in the middle of the road in wheelchairs with their brakes on and then running a car at them at 150mph is absoloutely brilliant.

Good to see its available again. I seem to recall there was a nice huge list of Media , music and video, which was banned after 9/11, of which this was one. But if its available again, whoop de doo.

Try and get it on DVD if you can. Better quality sound and extra features.

I invite you to read the Homeland Security Bill , passed last year in the wake of 9/11. Itll open your eyes to what "Freedom of Choice" really means in the US Now.

Well, the Homeland Security Act did require a permit to purchases some model rocket engines. As a former model rocketeer, I thought that was a bit silly. There was also a rider dealing with vaccine liability. And the Total Information Awareness thing, which was a great sillyness but pretty much dead now.

Even erin seen it before you then and that's saying something given she has never seen anything by Quentin Tarantino or even Bladerunner.

Anyway it's required viewing if you ever played Carmageddon. However I would advise against watching GTA directed by Ron Howard back in 1977 as it is in noway responsible for the great computer games.

p.s. Yes quite ace and sci-fi has been trying to parody/plagerize it ever since.
