I barely have any spam in my inbox, even though my e-mail addy is all over the internet.
The solution is blocking complete domains

Today, Snowhite was turning 18. The 7 Dwarfs always where very educated and
polite with Snowhite. When they go out work at mornign, they promissed a
*huge* surprise. Snowhite was anxious. Suddlently, the door open, and the Seven
Dwarfs enter..
sexy virgin.scr
etc.. Which means some git has me in their address book and doesn't realise they've got a virus. After recieving its variations for the past 2 years or so it's getting a little irritating now

How about just telling them about the problem?

No, it doesn't have a comedy option.

In my GMX account ... don't really know, after all it IS purely a spam bait.
For my private mail address, the current award goes to an advertisment mail for an email advertising (read: spamming) script called HiMailer, heh.
The amount of spam i recieve has however greatly decreased ever since the webmaster@domain mail account "stores" its mail in /devl/null ...

That's the thing, I've got absolutely no idea who it is. I don't keep an address book and I rarely email anyone from the account. At best I can assume it was someone who emailed me years ago when I was running the 'Planetarion Addicts' column. However considering I received litterally hundreds of emails from different people I've got little chance of narrowing it down to any one person.

SpamAssassin is your friend
I'd say it blocks about 95% of all spam sent to me, and catches about 1% of genuine mail. So I just read the log once a week (a 5 min job).
I've had the same address since 1997 so I get a LOT of spam

Of course, it all goes horribly wrong if you do:
paulm@totem:~$ rm procmail-log
Instead of:
paulm@totem:~$ joe procmail-log
Like I just did
M.
p.s. freevirtual.org, virtualconnect.org and freevirtualconnect.org are the prime spammers atm... so I reported them to ORBS :-)
