Alfred the Duck
This name popped out of the blue...

Fill in the details folks.

(I think it was the show about this duckling who was seperated from his parents and went to live with a badger, and the first episodes were about normal stuff like stealing when going to stately homes and lying about it, and weasels building a theme park, but then got strange with trips to the arctic and the like)

Alfred J. Kwak lives in a town in Waterland, in a house that looks like a large wooden clog (even his bed is in the shape of a clog). His parents/family died in a car crash when he was young and was brought up by a small mole called Henk, who he now calls Dad. His friends are Ollie the stork (who is a lawyer) and Henry the rabbit.

He is an adventurous young duck and is always willing to help others. He met the love of his life, Winnie, who with her family (of black ducks) were illegally escaping from a country called South Atrique, where they were segregated and discriminated against. Alfred invited the family to stay at his house while they applied for citizenship in his country.

i watched it when i was 6/7 or something, got all episodes on video now. :P
the first episode was drama+++ btw, where all of his brothers and sisters die, and his father and mother also.
i recommend it.

At the end of "The One With Ross's Thing" Chandler calls the duck "Dick" (but earlier in that same episode he'd suggested Dick would have been a good name for the offspring of the duck + chicken so it might have been a joke.) I think that was the only time anyone called it anything other than "the duck", and it mysteriously disappeared never to mentioned again at the end of that series, and I'm going to shut up now before people start thinking I'm a total girl.
