Mine is lovely. The banners kind of spoil the Christmassy feel though.
This is not a complaint about banner adverts.

The Spirit of Christmas is not strong in this one.
(Christmas may have christian origins, but it's meaning is neither commercial nor applicable to any specific religion.)

You have no idea how annoying and Presumptuous it is.

Are you being forced to celebrate Christmas? No. Are you being forced to post here? No.
Stop whining.

actually the hindus and jews that i know celebrate xmas the same way 90% of this country does, in a get the tree up, swap presents, get pissed, fight with family, have massive xmas meal and slob on sofa till new year. Not particularly christian i know, but then id forgo the religious aspect in exchange for 'good will for all mankind'.
Its xmas. innit. Now be happy or the xmas mob mentality will have your bollox off.

And how exactly was this affecting you?
And the admins can force any colour scheme on you that they like. Indeed, for a long time, there was only one.

A couple of days ago a (possibly drunk) Scottish woman argued with the owner of the local Chinese take away for about twenty minutes that "Chinese Christmas" was on a different day to a "Christian Christmas".

It is fairly thoughtless and irritating when somebody tries to force enthusiasm on you. Especially when it has religious undertones that you have no desire to acommodate - that's extremely insensitive.
Karm must be very excited about Xmas I guess.
